Hardly, it's just I think people have more to worry about than cats. Obviously you dont by the time you are spending in a thread for cat 'lovers'.

Ahhh so we only need to worry about the worst offenders now then?? We only worry about burglars when they have robbed 20 homes and murders when they have killed 5 people?? Get a grip, it wouldn't be hard to legislate so that cats need to be controlled in the same manner as dogs and a very large problem would go away.

This isn't an argument about my priorities though. My priorities may well be wrong, but I am still right in saying that cats that are allowed to roam are detrimental to their surroundings, its a proven fact. The only room for argument on this is how much of a detriment they are.

OllyK, I'm not really interested in arguing with you tbo. Its all semantics anyhow. Perhaps you have time this morning to waffle on, feel free to start another thread where I'm sure you can 'dispell all the cat gospel'.

Call it, 'Should we kill all cats'.

or how about, 'All cats should be de-clawed and de-toothed',

or 'keeping cats should be illegal'

or just 'I hate cats', thats always good for a few pages.

I don't agree with any of your suggested titles. I don't hate cats, I hate irresponsible cat owners.

I have a dog, my dog has his jabs every year, if we go out he is on a lead either short or extendable, and I always clean up after him when he goes to the loo. He no threat to the wildlife as the only thing he chases is cats, but he is on a lead anyway (unless he is in our garden, which is secure so he can't get out) All I am asking is for the cat owners to take a similar level of responsibility for their pet.
