You seem to think other people should think a certain way because, in their position, that's what you'd think. If that's the case, you must find the world a very frustrating place? personally i think the 03 models and most definitely the sti models are beautiful looking cars and i doubt the buyers would buy them if they didnt like the looks of them. it would be fairly stupid. as i say its Bandwagon to me

It wouldn't be 'stupid' Madjay, although it might be unusual. I wouldn't buy a car now that I didn't like the look of, but not everyone puts form over function. Or cares about form at all, for that matter.

Cars, and bikes, are the sort of thing that some people get passionate about - indeed I would say that most people get some sort of pleasure from owning one, but that doesn't have to mean that it comes from looking at it on your drive - consider the Renault Megane, and some people must be buying Chryslers.

I have owned cars in the past that I thought were pug-ugly, but it was transport for the right price. With cars like Scoobs there is an extra performance dimension that buys a certain amount of leeway when it comes to looks - for some people. Personally, I like the new-look Scoobys but I wouldn't criticise or insult someone just because they didn't - even if they owned one.

You are presuming to label people liars that you don't even know. Is it not possible that you are being rather rash and judgemental?

to me its "He says it ugly but its got performance behind it" so i'll just say the same. its been done a few times on this board, and it gets quite boring as everyone has the same opinion

so not only do u buy an ugly car but u buy an inferior car(not that i agree) why did u buy it?

 

the evo is nice but i love the look of of any scooby . even the bug eye has it's merits , but what pi**es me off is the review in top gear mag when saying of the WR1 a minus was the looks , what a load of boll***s , there are a certain amount of people on this forum from evo sites who just sh*t stir on here , now not one to rise to the bait , who me !!, but i wish they would just " GET A LIFE " and i'll fall off my soapbox now.

The evo is more angular, the scoob is more rounded, i prefer the more rounded look over angles as the rounded look blends in better.
