Oh and - it's dead easy from Ormskirk if you want to go the long way. Just head from switch island down the M57 to the M62 and then you only have to go up one junction and your off (2nd turning at the motorway roundabout - and then down to the first roudabout and turn right into the pub carpark)

ha ha - steam powered scoob Neil

Lift's not a prob, you were on the way

Although I myself may not have the Scoob at the next meet if I can make it, but a courtesy car instead (as it's in for a 2 week transmission repair / replace)

Ohhhh dear.

Under warranty I assume, back to Litchfields or where ever you got it from?

2 weeks is a bit long to change a gearbox or axle/diff ... are they doing investigation work first to determine problem and cause? Or just waiting for the bits?!

Maybe we should call it the Micklehead courtesy car meet if Andy H still has his Citreon courtesy car!

Yeah mate - back down south it goes They have to take it off, send it to the gearbox guys and then get it back - hence the reason why it's taking so long (postage).

Don't know what the courtesy car will be, I'm holding out for the Type25 for as long as possible though

Julian, is that 40 mins speed limit time or 25 mins flying?

Also, what road is the pub on (either name of road, A number or postcode)?!

scoobess, if you can get to the rainford bypass, or even east lancs, then one of us can come and "collect" you, and you can follow them down.....

The way I'd come would be the way I go to Makro, just looked on a map! M57, A580 and then turn left at the crossroads onto A570 - is the A570 the Rainford Bypass?!
