137) Person A "What should I choose, Ferrari 360 Challenge or 911 GT3 RS?"

Followed by 583 replies of people seemingly fully up to speed about 2 cars that have sold to about 15 people in the UK, none of whom would have got the means to buy that sort of car by spending hours on SN each day dissing cars they could never, EVER afford! You can almost see the (c) Evo, (c) Car Magazine, (c) Sun following every thread that starts..."the problem with the 360 mate, is that..."

138) What would be faster 0 - 60. A Mondeo ST220 modified so far from the original that the V5 says "erm, not sure" vs Scooby which was once a perfectly respectable showroon WRX and is now so Chavved up that Lizzy from Wifeswap would be too traumatised to drive it? Also, the track is on that bit of bumpy road by the industrial estate, the air con may or may not be on, and the driver is a professional plasterer, about 16 stones and eating a Maccy Dee during the run. Oh, and it is possible that it may be timed on my G-Shock stopwatch.

Spot on Dapster

The Evo tank only holds 3 litres

All scoobs melt piston 3

N/A spanks turbo

Everyone takes their preferred bits from stories they've read / heard / misheard 15th hand about various motors, then spreads the manure ever further and thinner, just with their own additional bias!

You'd think they'd driven hard everything they comment on

(guilty as charged myself 'cept I know I'm right )

That wasn't "really" a contribution though was it. More a half hearted apologetic statement of truth if anything

Sorry, but I have to admit to backing up another trend of this BBS nowadays. No-one reads the bl00dy replies!

I'm so mad, some guy/stoopid bitch/ old fogey ALMOST caused me to crash.

(Followed by 300 perfect drivers all recounting how some idiot almost caused them to crash anytime in the last two years).

I'm so upset, I just crashed.

(Followed by 300 sympathising drivers who were all pretty much perfect except for a momentary dose of bad luck or encounter with something which wasn't their fault)

(Followed by a few wise old birds saying "Serves you right, *******, be more careful next time")

(Followed by general free-for-all, usually ending up with a group hug not entirely coincidentally at half-past Stella at night.)

Get stuffed *******, you don't know my education, I write perfectly good letters at work but can't be bothered here while I'm enjoying myself. And you need apostrephes and it should be "anNoys", so you're not really perfect are you?

ffs - have you not got anything better to do than spend all day posting on SN? don't you have a job? in my job we can't leave our work station in between breaks. i've seen people sh*t themselves cos they couldn't take a break for the toilet. i've seen one bird drop a sprog cos she couldn't wait until a break - she chewed through the umbilical cord and carried right on working. you don't know your f*ckin born , mate. neither did her baby. he just laid there on the floor until someone got social services round and they took the little blighter away. no-one ever saw the baby again. apparently he works for nissan as well now, but not in the same plant as us, obviously. i seen one old guy drop down dead cos he couldn't wait until a break to die. it totally screwed up the line. we all thought he was an inconsiderate c**t; not waiting until the end of the shift. brendan, you're just stealing from your company in the end of the day, all the bl00dy time you waste p*ssing about on here. if you don't put in the graft, you never get anywhere ok?
