And I don't think he's far off the case, the Pug is an exceptional handler for FWD, and if its Mi16'd then the scoob boys are in serious trouble. 0-60 becomes low to mid 6's and the engine weighs hardly any more than the normal 1.9 unit so handling doesn't suffer in the slightest unlike big engines in Nova's.
A few relatively cheap mods and an Mi16 will see a reliable 200bhp, and that when they start to spank quite a few "fast" cars

I have my finger hovering over the "buy now" button at the moment on the rallynuts.com site for 2 x weber 45's which would take it to 190bhp@800kg.

Tempting, and if the engine didnt need a full rebuild they would be ordered now

I don't think our Clio Cup would be far off Impreza's on track either, as for the 944, it'd be no contest

We will see just how quick the cup is in 5 weeks time me thinks. I still reckon it will lap within 15 seconds of the 944 .... have a beer on it with ya mate

Yeah, can't wait to take it and see what its true performance is like. I'm being a bit of a pansy on the roads here ATM........
