Dave dont worry about it mate, what will be will be. Will will get a few in Friday then have some good early ones saturday morning and the rest of saturday hope for the best ....

Scamming Subaru dealer did their best to not make sure my car was ready on time - check

Tank nearly empty - check (fill up in France leaving Chunnel)
Octane Booster ordered and waiting in South London (pick up on the way) - check
Mad South African passenger promises to be at mine on time (05:00) - check (we'll see)
Packed - no check, I have an England football match to watch...
Car clean - no check, didn't have time (it will get dirty anyway)
Lots of other stuff on "to do list" - no check (it could be a late night )
etc. etc. etc.

Can't wait - see you all tomorrow.....

How can I puke on the ferry when I'm taking the Chunnel?

I'm sure it'll be fairly quiet tomorrow and it's always quiet at "my" time of day.... The rain is fun too...... (except for Karl with his tyres that don't work in the wet....)

Great great weekend ......

Nice to meet you all again ...even you Karl lol. Thanks for the passenger lap and sitting behind you made a big difference to my driving and was good enough to get me down into 8 minute status driving. Not bad for an old french clutter 205.

Thanks also to the exige boys and girls for waving to me while i sat in the hard shoulder of the E40 by Liege. Something strange was going on with the steering so i decided to take a trip back on a car transporter. Its also a good way to save petrol

Nice to have met you Matt .... car sounded good mate i have to say.

Roll on the next time, which for me is 17th - 20th sept. Might invest in a trailer before then though

We ended up camping about 100M from your hotel, as the manager was nowhere to be found. We partied into the wee hours with a strange bunch of germans.

still they fed and "watered" us anyhoo

 

Well what can I say I had a fab time, I am chuffed to bits I got to do my first ever track on the famous Nurburg Ring plus with no other cars..... as just as we pulled off they shut the Track as yet another Biker had a fatel accident.... So I was lucky to have no other cars or motobikers....

WRCTANK - Nice to meet ya, remember give us a shout when ya over we can do a mini scoob meet.

MutMatt - Nice to see ya again, shame we didnt get to do that lap in ya car

Guttman - sorry mate but we were travelling at about 130 MPH and well we saw ya at the last minute and well couldnt really stop as a business High Way

Finally made it to Britanny after 8 and a half hours of caning it across France at more than 100 mph - naughty. Clare got done by a speed camera oops.

Got some tyres before we left and our brake pads just managed to get us there with 1mm left!!

See you in September, I have 30 degree heat and a golden beach to go to now

Oh and the 24 hour race is currently showing in the evenings if you look.

BTW, there wasn't a fatal crash last weekend, just a few bad bike crashes and one bad car crash but no fatals.

When I was about to do my lap one of the steward Bikers came up and said there had been a fatal crash, lying little bugger

Well thats good to know no one had a fatal crash

Really squealy ones made from lumps of coal in Poland Changed them yesterday for really grippy ones though
