Sounds like you bought a CTR then, what colour etc?

PS Know anyone that wants to do a full Mi16 rebuild for very good money?
Yup, sold the Cup to one mate and bought a CTR off another mate, it's like musical cars...

The lad that bought my Cup also has a 205 Mi16, but it's a bit f*cked so the Cup is going to replace it and the 205's going.

Not a red E-reg per chance?

Do you know Roman in Nelson, specialises in engine conversions? He did a leak down test on mine last week, and it was 35% down on each cylinder. Just waiting for a price from him for full rebuild.

I will be at Elvington for the Scooby shootout May 31st, get yourself there. Mine will be the blue smoke screen 205 if I cant get it rebuilt by then

Close... it's a red F-Reg one!

Used to live locally, my mate Scott who works at Simpson's in Colne had it for a few years before the current owner got it.

Yup, I know all about him and it's nothing but bad news I'm afraid...

I wouldn't take my car there ever!

Speak to Karl at the Bay Horse, he had Roman do some work on his Westfield and it was a shambles, that resulted in him having to get a new engine!!!

He now uses a place over Sabden way, who is **** hot, I'll get the details for ya.

Might try to get along to that for a look!

You'd love a Cup... very much like a modern day version of the 205!

I'll have to take you out for a spin in the CTR too, it's kinda fun...

Yeah pop down with the CTR one night - will also take you out in the 205.

Send me the guys details in Sabden ASAP - i could do with getting the engine rebuilt as soon as, so will pop over and see him.

PS Sorry for the thread hijack.

matlow,

if your buying with no trade in then you can get a delivery mileage, pre-registered 04 plate 182 with both CUP options and metallic paint for £12,650 from www.ukcarbroker.co.uk

It is a UK car not an import and comes with the full 3 year warranty and AA breakdown. I got my 172 CUP from there with the Climate Control option for £11,750 on the road and had no problems at all with any part of their service, or with the car for that matter.

PEE, something just crossed my mind, if its pre-registered does that mean it already has one owner on the book prior to yourself??
