Incidentally, a copper told me that if you have an up and over garage, cut the cable from the handle to the catch. That way the garage can only be opened from pulling the cable from the inside.

He said its very noisy trying to open a garage door from the outside when the handle doesn't work

Another idea is to run the cable inside metal tubing. Doesn't make cutting it impossible, but does make it more difficult.

All customer cars stored at API that are driveable, are fitted with our own supply of diskloks, regardless of alarms and trackers that may already be on the cars. Great bits of kit and believed to be unbreakable.

just be carefull when fitting your disc lock, I got i bit cockey with mine one day and put it through the windscreen!! doh!! ( it was in a cav not the scoob!)
