Wonder who'll be the first to be suspended for reading this thread and not doing any work ?

Not me, I am currently monitoring the network for that sort of abuse. LOL.

Hope you get lots of cash, an apology letter and a guaranteed letter of reference for what you have had to put up with.

lol!, yeah comes with a car which is nice, it was my first formal interview so I'm quite pleased I come across well as I was a little nervous.

The good thing is it's what I want to do, with some really nice people, so I'm lucking forward to it tbh
Just need a cheque for 20K to come through the door in settlement!...

I'm now having a Good Day

Congratulations, maybe you'll come out a financial victor, but it will never compensate for aggravation and worry I'll bet.

Good luck in the new job, at least with this to concentrate on, you'll hopefully not be lingering on what has happened. All you need to do know is screw the old company through a tribunal, just gotta hope they don't offer your old job back now I guess.

Default Congratulations!

Tim,

Good news on the new job front. I assume they were not bothered re your current situ?

Like I said earlier don't forget to write this up ready to become a Hollywood Blockbuster. Title could be "Dismissed - The Final Frontier".

Glad you seem to be coming out of this with some positives. Keep going and watch out for strange security guards.

Cheers.

thanks for the latest comments

Today I recieved the letter from the MD saying the decison has been upheld, no suprise there then!, just to prove what a bunch of incompetent fckwits they are they hav'nt even dated the letter!

Anyway It reveals a major bollock drop on their part, this is gonna be easy at tribunal, least if your gonna lie you need to be consistant!.

Just knocking together some scans and a couple of pages which will explain to all, in a simple manner, this is really gonna be a good read!..

Thanks again, will post when It's done..

Cheers

Evening all,

Sorry I have been abit busy, also been out with a mate to buy an Evo 6 today (not for me btw, still a scooby owner )

Anyway not much to report at the mo, the solicitors are currently dealing with it, I should have more info this Monday coming..

Also start my new job Monday, really looking forward to it

It amazes me how little support I have recieved from my so called friends/work colleagues, have heard all sorts of rumors which have really annyoed me

Apparantley I have been hacking their websites over the last week or so, ummmmmn..

like I'm going to risk losing a tribunal case for 5mins of 'satisfaction' that can be easily recovered from a backup and traced to me...

Actually care, have the time and can be actually bothered to do it...

I think the company are just trying to drum up support for their case against me, to stem any potential problems.

Oh well roll on the tribunal, should have everything sorted this week coming

Cheers everyone

Tim

Sounds like they are scraping the barrel for any way to give you a hard time either because they are "twitched" about the result or maybe just plain spiteful behaviour. Thats what I would expect from people who are prepared to behave as they have done.

Really glad you have got what seems to be a good job somewhere else and I really hope the tribunal goes all your way.

My old boss reported me to the police for "theft of domain names" & "wilful destruction of company data" that - quote - 'costs thousands to replace'. The domains were mine & I could prove it & I cleared my inbox before I left and any personal, not company, docs The police laughed.

His IT defence was that I was cr@p & would've been sacked anyway & cited as a reason the downtime the company suffered as a result of Nimda virus, which at the time I was actually on holiday & I'm reasonably certain was caused by another staff member d/loading something which was in contravention of company AUP!! Besides which, millions of other computers succumbed to that virus in the first 6 hours...

I guess he was scratching 'cos he was bang to rights with no real defence but shows the steps they take to rationalise their behaviour. Peurile really.

Keep us informed
