BEWARE JETWASH HOSES!!
This is really sad and I feel sorry for the damage that has been inflicted.
In todays eco friendly paint systems the finish on modern cars is so very easily damaged (perhaps VW having the most vulnerable paint system), even a dirty hand used to shut a door can cause fine scratches in the lacquer. So rubbing even a clean hose along the car is going to do some damage.
I agree with those that suggest you try and talk with the Garage, but I dont feel you have much chance. You were in a place were people go to clean things, by the nature of that it means the muck they clean is going to hang about in that area, even if the area was clean would you really let a hose thats been lying on the floor come into conatact with your pride and joy?
Any way damage is done, but dont use T cut to polish the scratches out, its far too abrasive and will be through the lacquer (and the paint) very quickly and probably put bigger scratches that have now into the paint. Use something like colour magic and hard work, colour magic being quite an abrasive polish (relatively), keep checking the paint at regular intervals, you mustnt cut through the surface to the paint. Then finish off with a less abrasive polish like Auto Glym or McGuiars gold class.
Next thing, if you want to pressure wash your car then go to Halfords or B&Q and get one from there, they can be pretty cheap, use it at home and its not recycled water.
There is some thought that pressure washing a car is like sand blasting it any way but this is really not the case. The dirt on the vehicle is stationary and accelerated away from the surface, dirt in the water is accelerated by the nozzle into the car and will damage the vehicles finish.
Either way I hope you get it sorted.

the scratches could possibly be fixed with cutting compund and waxes and such, but it depends on the marks themselves, without seeing them its hard to say
the ones i did on my car went through the paint on the front bumper and arnt fixable (just how thin is the paint on them front bumpers
)
WRX,
You've hit the nail on the head, nice one.
I never come accross these type of problems at a Jet Wash before, lucky for me that I've not been on the recieving end.
I for one will be going back to the well loved bucket and sponge with my little home jetwash I got for the patio.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
