It was posted after 12.

This is not an April Fool. Pretty sick one if it is!

Also no answer from their phones...

Like many, I spent a great deal of my life in thier workshop, chatting about cars and watching whilst they did yet another mod to my car, Pete always answered emails promptly and never pushed products.

Thanks for all your time and efforts Pete, it'll be a different scene without you

sad for the loss, but I'm sure Pete will bounce back, bigger and better.

Just hope he'll continue contributing even if he bounces back in a different direction- to lose such a mind full of so much information would be a much bigger loss than this.

good luck m8

Only just found out. Awesome amount of posts from some of the great "oldies" from when SN started.

Without Mr C. I doubt if I would ever had ventured onto a track and would have missed out on one of the most enjoyable periods of my life.
I remember the debate well at the 1999 SIDC AGM at Cadwell Park, on whether I should put my 6mth old wagon on the track. A certain Stef Reader put the final seal on my adventures by taking me out for a ride that same day.
Later, Full decatted exhaust, driving lamps, brembo's and LEDA B's (coupled with PE's phase1 remap and a APS cold air intake) produced an awesome stealthmobile out of my humble red 5door wagon that was only ever passed by a few "special" cars. Even had the scalp of Aaron Bird's Skyline at donno with 1/2 a lap headstart (Andy Tang can verify)

My geniune thanks and best wishes to you Pete and good luck in whatever venture you choose next.

Got some pics someplace of you David using your "stealthmobile" tactics - however, I think daisy-cutting, pirouettes and short-cuts are not the real reason your car was so able

Scoobysport was one of the main companies i used and probably the most reliable of all the mail order companies currently out there. I'll be sorry to see them go
