Did actually laugh quite a lot there SSU! I would usually disconnect the sensor, but not quite sure what the idea is behind the plugs!

hahahah i enjoyed the read, i personally fill the filter but never disconnected the sensor and never had any problems.

lol at reading this.. i still dont understand why you woud take spark plugs off and disconnect sensor and crank by hand

maybe if the car had been parked for a long time?

when i got my first scooby i used to watch the mechanic simply put a bit of oil around the oil filter to ensure a tight seal, thats it, no problems after 10 oil changes at least..

on my bugeye now all i do is prefill the oil filter and not had any probs this way..

dont get why something as simple as an oil change would be so difficult on these cars..
