Gary,

Cheers mate, and 'on the head'.

I was looking at having the door done as well as part of the same job, so send accross his number and I'll get in touch Monday as I need a quote to get it done asap... before this guy disapears or something.

Can't make it Thursday, folks, as I'm working away all week. However, after having been there today for a bit of a Mother's day slap up I can report that the food is still top notch, the service is great, and the car park was unusually devoid of Scoobys.
Didn't feel like the same place. Looks v. nice in daylight too.

Have a nice time y'all.

Sticky Stuff

PS Dazza... how's me PC looking?

Thumbs up

Thanks mate. I'll give him a call. I'll also tell him I liked him when he was in Spandau Ballet. Might get a thump for my troubles too, as I doubt he's never heard that one before!

As for the list for the meet..

Attendees (and possibles ?) to the next meet who have posted here in no particular order, except on good looks.

Me
CorradoGirl (do you seriously expect me to put you lot above Helen? )
Madgrip
Apple
HB
Kingy
Silver Sonic
Projucer ?
Kel ?
Mick02WRX ?
SteveChaps
J4CK5ON
Nick
YorkshireSimon & Bro? (Sorry mate, forgot your name!)
Dazza
Maddy Showing off his new 19’s
CorradoBoy

I lied about the looks bit (apart from Helen, obviously )

Are there any other new bits to look out for, apart from my dent ?

If I have missed anyone off, I apologise. Please let me know, and thou shall be added.

We will more than likely be having a small, but swift, convoy in from the Holmfield Arms, as usual.

Handbags out, ladies. Roll up for the first Fenay Bridge Duel.

Silversonic vs Corradoboy.

Gentlemen, your weapons of choice are?

(I'll moderate this one from a safe distance, i.e. London)

Gary, I must have been typing when you posted yours. I'm a little happier being the 2nd ugliest Leather Picker

Al, the Holmfield convoy will be a "CHASE" this month

You know, THAT Stephen kemp, like the 5th Beetle. Ok Ok *COUGH** I should have checked first...

BTW. I did add the disclaimer at the end saying that the I'd lied about the list. Another BTW. If your going to hit me, watch the face. That's the only thing that's keeping me at the top of the list!

The convoy always ends up as a chase for the 'rear gunner'. I had some 'interesting' numbers on the clock trying to catch up on the way to the Fun Day after getting held up once or twice.

Dazz took until the roadworks just by 'The Bridge' to catch us up after leaving the car park about 3 minutes after us... And knowing Daz, that would have been chasing with a capital C.

I never asked, what did hold you all up on the FunDay convoy? I kept a steady 69 (+11 ish ) all the way, but couldn't see more than 3 cars or so back with the spray and traffic. I was surprised when we pulled up in Scunny and there were only 3 of us I even did the last few miles into Scunny at a painful (but honest) 50-60 to try and bunch us up.

It was the last few miles down the A159 after the refuel. There were a few T junctions and roundabouts and we got split up.

Steve kept us straight until Blyton and even pulled off onto the right road to stop and find out if we were heading the right way..

Some kind gent in a Disco said it was a mile down the road.. The first few guys still missed it as it wasn't an obvious turning. Only your car appearing in the turning saved us heading off towards Lincoln!

You'd be surprised how much faster you have to go at the back to catch up only a mile or so. At 69 +11 on the motorway I had to go.. 'quite fast' .. to catch you up after waiting for Daz's pit crew.. who knew the way anyway...

Al,

You're only trying to sweet-talk us with the above list after the muppet rogues gallery - we haven't forgotten

Talking of chases - I'm going easy on the red mist if you're following me home this time... (although, let's see if the tw*t in the festa wants to play again )

On a serious note guys, Rallydrive say they were one helmet down after our visit. Could everyone check their boots/vans please just in case a mistake has been made.
Howard has offered me a couple of dates for our next Rallydrive session. Sept 18th or oct 16th. The price will have to rise to £600 so with my shortfall reimbursement it will be £35 per car for 20 of us.

Does the Fenay have a TV, preferably with DVD player attatched? I've popped my mpegs from the digital camera on a VCD. If they haven't I could bring the lappy.

Knobby, I come from Leeds. I usually go down the M1 to J39 and meet with some of the guys at the Holmfield Arms, then convoy on to Fenay. Would the Brickworks at Driglington be any good for meeting you? I'll be the very ugly guy

Franko, I can't do anything with DV tapes. Don't know about anyone else. If not, save it for Aprils meet, it'll give us something to look forward to as there's no planned events coming. Unless Al pulls his attractive finger out and sorts out the karting he mentioned, or HB invites us all for a curry

Projucer - yup, that'll get you there. The Fenay Bridge pub is about 800 yards after Morrisons, on the RHS.

Dave - Did someone mention curry???

Dave, 'The Bridge' have no facilities for showing DVD's or anything like that. So the best thing is to bring a laptop down and show them that way.

Projucer... time will be 7:30 or 7:10 from the Holmfield Arms

Karting? I'll try and get some details for Thursday...

Al

Been away from the CPU for a few days and find that this has happened!!!

Had it done to me - not very nice! really p*sses me off to hear things like this.

I personally would not use a mobile repairer when it was not my fault. Make sure it goes to a garage and gets done properly mate, otherwise it might reflect in the £££s you get when you come to sell it etc!!

As for me being so far down the list - very offended!!

See you all on thurs night!!

Cheers
