Oil - now you've got me wondering as well....

Nosh & drive sounds tempting Dave - will ask The Boss when she's alive again.

I just made a mistake. Started topping off the oil and realised there's a dipstick (bright yellow ) next to the oil filler. I was checking the one under the intercooler. So now I've a bit too much in the engine, but none in whatever the other one's for. I can smell a trip to the dealer coming

Not even seen the one next to the Intercooler Dave. The main one is hard enough to gauge, without looking for others.....

Not surprised you missed it - it's only bright yellow after all

Red face

The one in between the turbo & intercooler is the gearbox oil dipstick

Oi, don't smile at others misfortune.

Just drained a little out of the sump and re-checked the 'box level and alls fine, phew

Back to more important matters. Can't do a drive next week as I'm in Brid all week, tracking at the W/E then Fenay as normal the week after. How about the week after that? Would you be able to do anything during daylight hours, or will work consign us to darkness?

CB - Gald everything is sorted!

Checking the oil on these things is a nightmare. Even the slightest of slopes in any direction makes a massive difference, only place I now check mine is on ramps at my mate work which I know are dead level!

Hope the impreza is still bringing miles of smiles!!!

Cheers

Oh yes. That is, untill the miles facilitate a visit the the Optimax pump . Is it me, or when the needle goes below half full does it accelerate? I swear I can see it moving!

Sensible comment :-

Dire Straits. As much as I quite like them, I don't think it fits with the Scooby scene. There also maybe some copyright and royalty issue with the BPI to consider.

Speaking of copyright. Are all those library/promo Scoob shots copyright free?
