Its full of bloody foreigners again! If I knew how to unblock you I would but I came off the server as soon as I saw who was on so I didn't get banned too.
Once some of the other SN players turn up will see if we can ban these others and unblock you mate.

Those will be good fun once Simon\Sean gets the full game server up and running, I'm kinda sick playing the GP track. The city track (long version) is pretty challenging

Do keyboard users have unfair advantage over wheel users?
On another note Simon, as far as realism goes this thread throws up a few 'realism' problems I wouldnt expect in any sim:
http://forum.racesimcentral.com/showthread.php?t=124409
Apparently keyboard users have an advantage over wheel users with the lighter, faster, twitchier cars. LFS seems to have keyboard assistance build into the game code, which for instance allows KB'ers to drive at full power over kerbs with one wheel on the verge\grass when that is impossible with an analogue device like a wheel as you cannot control a car in this situation with a wheel (as it would be in RL).
Much as I'm really enjoying LFS and havent particulary noticed this 'flaw' myself (although some peope seem to be able to take a much tighter line over certain sections I cannot say for sure they are KB'ers) if correct this seems a major problem with the game physics in what is purported to be a simulation with realsitic physics. If this is true then these sort of arcadey physics will spoil LFS as a hardcore sim with wheel users IMO.
This is not sour grapes BTW as anyone who has raced with me knows I can hold my own and can win races against most peeps np.
What do people who have used both a keyboard and wheel think, have you noticed more control with the KB, do you get faster lap times? I've never used a keyboard for driving sims myself and dont intend to now.

Liked this comment, sad but seemingly true of the servers I've been playing on today
There are certain types of ppl to play LFS i think...
1. we have the hardcore wheelers. They drive using a wheel and a clutch pedal and a gear stick shifter.
2. then we have the standard wheeler. They drive with a stock wheel ( two pedals with shift padals) and they sometimes have downshift throttle blip on and downshift cut on..
3. we have the keyboarders that cant afford a wheel. They grudgingly drive using a KB but they will get a wheel when they can cos they feel as if driving sutch a realistic game such as LFS and GPL with a KB is a bit stupid..
4. and nooooow we have the people that **** me off. The 1337 racers.. They Pwnz ur azz j00!.. these people sometimes even already have a wheel but they still race with the KB (tut tut) because its easyer to drive faster with it. They like to win.. They like to scream through chicanes in a LX6 at godlike speed Riding up all the curbs and with there foot on the floor ( or should i say there first finger on the UP key) and they are generaly the fastest people on the server.
