Was a good meet but crap weather
Nice to a few new faces and cars, hopefully whenthe weahter turns we can beat the 40 odd cars we got at one meet last year.

Another pre meet at F,bro gate is a good idea

I will get the map out to find a route for the extended drive.
it will be the same as before but when we get to ripley take a left and then a right at the susuki garage and back roads to perford lock and then join the A3 near wisley gardens.

I will post a map up of the new route nearer the time.

Another idea I had was that I reckon that would be good is that everyone leaves Newlands Corner at the same time. Because we tend to have may 3-4 or 6-7 leave at a time....

...I reckon it would be a lot better, and also look a lot better, if all of us try and leave at the same time.

As an example, let's say that at 2pm, on the dot, we all get in our cars and go for the drive to our next desitination.............what does everyone think about that?

I was thinking of starting to sort out that Brooklands day, Full Lunch followed by a tour of the museum and track with a Photo op of the cars on the track for £15ish, was thinking april may or june any preference?

Going to need to be a nice day for the Surrey/brooklands meet.
May/june shoud have better weather and a little more time to organise.
might be worth ringing brooklands to see whats best for them.

If you can get me start time (do we need to change newlands meeting times), exact price, and If there is a limit on the amount of people ?

i will post the surrey/brooklands meet about a month or so in advance just so people know about the change.

How many scoobs do you see in the week and how many evos do you see in the week.

Scoobs are to common and so many scoobs look the same now - facelift, big sti rear spoiler, p1 front etc. Gets boring.

BUT, scoobs are so much cheaper! lol

 

That's cos all the Evos are in the shop getting the gearbox oil changed.

I had a similar problem, not having been to one for 18 months either! Was just relieved to see that there were a few friendly faces that I knew ....

Probably won't be able to make the next one for another 18 months as they always fall on the wrong weekend for me!

Was glad to see that the pics of my car taken by ppl here made it look very clean ... even though I had anthracite looking wheels on the front and gold on the back
