Sorry we missed you at Farnborough mate, the weather was getting a bit horrendous so we left 12:45 on the dot......It'll be good to organize a pre-meet each month...hopefully the weather would be a bit better next time !!!

Thumbs up

Sorry I didn't make this, but due to over indulgence at the Scooby Ball the night before, I didn't get home til 1pm and with the hangover from hell.

Looked like a brilliant meet and hope to be at the next one.

Enjoyed my first meet - it was a last minute decision go as I was on a fairly tight DIY deadline that day (hence my very short stay at Fairmile - once I'd found it!).

I shall venture along to other meets and make myself known - Cool Grey STi V Wagon with gold Oz Racing wheels.

Cheers

Matt

Asif, good to meet you, sorry we didn't get a chance to chat properly!

I was in the red CRX that let 5-6 Scoobs out of the junction, during the drive to the pub!! Sorry for not letting you out Damian, but there was traffic building up behind me and it was funny not to let you out (Oh, how Caroline and I laughed about that)!!!

Hi all - was a good day out

However - I think thats the last time Frank gets in a car with me

I did ask him to let me know about the road but he left it somewhat late & instead of saying "there is a sharp bend coming up" all I got was "f*ck! f*ck! f*ck!" as I did a WRC driver impression & went round the bend at a rediculous speed steering through the drivers door window

I'm lucky I didnt end in the ditch - somehow I pulled the inner arch out from under the wing, which was dragging along the road, hence why I was going so slow because 1 I didnt want to knacker it & 2 I was trying to find somewhere to pull in

AP brakes & Ohlins coilovers saved the day I think otherwise it would have gone very wrong!

Good turn out of cars though - dont really recognise anyone from the last meet I went to which was nearly 18 months ago!

Will try & make it a bit more regular now

lol at Chris!

Evidence on the tape, Chris, there is that sharp bend.

Chris doesnt listen as usual chasing after darren and decides to take the corner like he was in the rally.

next time i wont be going in with him - or we will take a different route to avoid that bend! lmfao

Lol @ you lot.

C - good to meet you mate. Nice ride. You had a lot of people worried though mate with the way you were pulled over. As soon as you came into sight after the bend it looked like you'd gone through the hedge, lol. No wonder Frank looked a little pale.

Nevetas - where the hell did you end up, mate? Richmond park? We were heading back to W. London, through Esher, Kingston, Richmond, Kew, Ealing. Where are you from?

Andypugh - Frank's new motor? ROFLMAO! Yeah, food is always good, mate. Portions a bit small, though. But dessert took care of that. Think you've got a few admirers over on the Middlesex scoob crew thread.

Mattpiece - saw you pull up at Newlands and was admiring your wagon. Gotta love them STi wagons, esp in Cool Grey.

West London & Middx scooby crew - Good turnout, had a laugh. I think some of those 2 way radio things could be a good investment. I was itching to rag it as we came over the bridge at Brentford

Later.

Indeed, I think I must of hit Richmond Park, Was nice seeing all them deer, shame I didn't bring me gun

I made the drive down from Rayleigh, Essex

After the park, we somehow ended up at Heathrow, then we just hit the M25 and worked our way home from there. M25 roadworks delayed up somewhat, but after that it wasn't too bad.

Andy, I chatted with you yesterday about your wagon as we first went into the pub.
cant believe how you out paced me so easily, the scoobs felt slow ever since, hopefully a mental thing. either way, its got to be sorted quick!! I`ll see you at the G-force rolling road day in April.

Regards, Cliff (bright red classic/P1 alloys)

So you had a nice little tour, then, lol. Next time turn right out of the pub, then right at the mini roundabout and straight over the next mini roundabout and that should bring you back on the A3. Then it's about one junction south and you'll hit the M25. Hope that didn't put you off coming to the next one.

Forgot to say, CHEERS MOK for organising the meet, mate. I'll make an effort to say hello next time. (Which of the white ones is yours?)

Cheers again, as I was one of the lucky ones you let out! Didn't click as to who it was until reading the above! LOL!

Cliff - looking forward to the rolling road day, never been on the rollers before so should be a grin

Asif - have you got your camera sorted yet buddy?? a good program is ACDSEE for viewing / editing and resizing pictures, my advice would be throw the instruction book and snap away until you get the results you are after

Nice one Tim.

Very nice looking motor mate. Nice that you brought the family along too. I am very busy for the next few weekends as a friend is having the biggest, most expensive, wedding ever! This all culminates that weekend.

But lets consider it for future.

Cheers

THANKS to everyone that turned up

the weather was not the best but the the 30 car + turn out made up for it.

Sorry i did not not chat or say hello to all of you but the weather was crap and all i wanted was a pint and roof over my head.

Mine is the White one with white wheels and loud exhaust. Soon to have some mud flaps to stop all those stones flying (sorry)

Should have some pics and maybe some vids on www.subaruclubsurrey.co.uk soon.
