lol at Andy!

Great meet and was good to see a good number of scoobs turn up - loads of us.

Next month and months after should be much better and we should be well over the 40 scoob mark

I think there was about 30 scoobs this time.

Good Stuff, Turned up very late so had no idea who any of you where. I was the silver MY02 STi parked next to the yellow Evo at the pub.

Had some fun with a few other scoobs on the way home, was in a line with about 5 of you, but I got stuck at the light, and ended up going the wrong way. D'oh! The had to do the entire 1 way system again!! Where were you guys heading to anyway??

I ended up here!!

No Idea how! LoL

Anyway, I'll try and arrive on time next time

Cheers All

Steve

I was in the yellow evo with Chris.

The reason it was pulled over was while we was going down the country road (we were second), Chris came to the 90 degree sharp end bend. Well Chris hasnt been to the meet for 18 months so forgot about this.

Anyway, Chris took the corner at around 70mph, realised it was a 90 degree bend, hit the brakes and basically we went round that bend sideways. proper scary sh*t! lol I was with the video camera in the evo and going round the bend, the camera went up in the air and i was nearly filming the sky. lol

Carried on and we heard rubbing. Chris slowed down and pulled over when the scoobs over took us. Basically as he went round, he had gone in a massive whole and mullered his inner arch!

Then set off again.

Evo never did any emaergency brake though? He slowed down to around 20mph looking for a place to pull over to check what the rubbing was?

I missed you guys at Farnborough, but i managed to pick up 3 scoobys at Ladymead retail park at Guildford silver saloon, blue saloon and also a grey type r i was behind them guys in the blue wagon, manged to follow them to the pub... shame about the naff weather hope the next one has better weather. To P5TBP i am the guy standing next to the Blue Wagon looking lost 9th pic down in yer post.. did not get a chance to speak to anybody but the other blue wagon owner did not get his name. Left early felt a bit lost being my first meet and all not knowing anybody probably bring a mate next time..
Anywayz nice turn out loads of luvly looking motors till next time.

Frank, imagine being 10 cars back doing over 1@@ mph and coming up behind a queue of scoobs at 20 mph, brakes get stood on mate my abs saved me from a bank and the rear end of a white WRX, that was why everyone thought the evo slammed the brakes on

Yes, very enjoyable.

Becoming a bit of a regular to this now. Feel sorry for those that do not know anyone, you just have to keep coming and keep saying hello to people. (this is not a criticism of any kind, certainly I never knew anyone when I first went, now I know a couple of people)

I got to Newlands late today so not much time to meet and greet and until I get a much better performing scoob I will always poo myself on the run from Newlands to the pub! LOL!

Nice to see the usual suspects - you know who you are!

Thanks to MOK for organising (another person it would have been good to say hello to!)

Hello to the Middlesex Scoob Crew, who I didn't speak to as I didn't know who was who, but will look out for next time and certainly while driving around MIDDLESEX!

Nevetas, I think you left the pub the same time as the (unofficial) West London crew (came out of pub, turned left for Esher, then lots of swapping and waiting for each other?!) We were heading back to the smoke mate, as the country air is so clean it makes us dizzy! LOL!

Hello again to Andy Pugh and thanks for the camera tips!

Hello to duSTI again as we both realised we have actually met and spoken before!!

Hello to others who I said hello to or had spoken to for the first time, Andy Tang, Becky (nice P1), Rob, and Bal, plus others whose names I forget!!

Bad luck on the footie result today Krade, we will have to see what happens to Houllier and Ranieri - and Fergie for that matter - 4, 1 - shocking.

Nice to see families and partners also.

I've managed to get my boat race in a couple of piccies, but only one of my car - what does that tell you??

Good day out and thanks.

Asif

SCOOBNOV/COOL GREY TYPE R WITH RB5 WHEELS:

A healthy turnout and top effort made by all who attended considering the rain n wind, was well worth it IMO!.

BIG HANDSHAKE to all the usual scoobsters:

(Rich/Vik/Asif/Krade/Dave/Cliff/M4ggy/Nevetas and new faces ....and of course.... The origional barrel of laughs...Frank! Missed the sound of your MAD Motor today but you kept us entertained with your verbal commentry as usual!!!!!!! Great food and top dessert.

Missed ya Pete!! make sure you get to the next one!!

Can't wait 4 the summer when I'm sure this Meet will be Tops!! Was nice to see a few more Type R's today.. Hopefully get ta talk to you guys on the next one. Had a blast with Frank's video filming and driver in the Evo...sorry m8 could't help showin off with the flames!! (I want a copy of that tape mate!!!)

BIG thanks to all that organised it (mok @ co.) and all that took the pics and posted up..looking 4ward to the next one.

Rich.. close call over that bridge with the boys in blue on the right! I was ready with the launch control in motion...but then had to back off asap! I caught one of the grinning as we went past!.. must have been a undercover scooby owner! good seein ya m8..will give you a call when i get a chance to remote mount the knocklink for advice.

Was a good 1 all...cya soon.
