Looks good in red....mines Silver - easy to keep clean and hides scratches etc. I don't know what number mine is - where is that info?

Have you worked out the stereo yet - it is supposed to be a good unit but mine sounds like it has 10p piece speakers. It also seems to be stuck on demo mode and I can't get it off!

Going in for 1k service next Tuesday probably with about 1300 miles on it. Bit of a backlog at my dealer but my mats (free!) should be ready to be collected then.

And, yes - use your own oil but not Mobil 1 until 9k service - you need a bit of friction for the 1st 9k miles to run it in properly - just use a semi synthetic or Castrol Magnatec for the 1k and 4.5k services.

I am now taking mine up to about 5k revs and it does feel like more HP than the 260 I had in my WRX PPP. It managed to totally destroy a Beemer 330coupe who was being an **** and sitting on my exhaust pipe - and that's without going over 5k!!!

McRash..... Mines got a little plaque just infront of the gear stick with it's number on, like in the FQ models. When i first went to check it over there woz no plaque but woz on when i picked it up. Black one in showroom that i drove has one and is number 0071 so u should have one too i'd have thought.

The girlfriend worked out how the stereo works in 2 minutes! i like u struggled with it all day i'll get her to type something on here when she's round next so u know how to get out of demo mode.

My mats arrived today, only took 2 days from when i ordered them but did cost me £99

Thanx for the info on the oil, that'll defo save me money like u say, only on 76 miles at the moment! Spent most the day looking at it lol. I'll whack some better pics up asap.

McRash - thanx mate, nearly went for Silver like u but they had a Red FQ300 in the showroom and seeing that convinced me Red woz for me. Get onto them for your plaque! yours must be an early number as u had it a month before i got mine.
