Phil, added you to the Rallydrive list as a "TBC", fingers crossed.
I've also added someone called Chris. I think that was your name, and I don't remember your Snet name 'cos I'm hopeless with names and having to remember 2 really messes me up. Please post here or on the Rallydrive thread to confirm M8.
Another great night. The turnout is just getting better and better. How big is this thing gonna get when the fair weather returns? Roll on spring and some drive out ideas
Steve, hope the wee'un is OK.

Brilliant do as usual. I think we need to have a 'stand up and introduce yourselves' section to the proceedings, as there's a danger that everyone sticks in their own groups and doesn't get around to meet everyone.
Al, I might even have those photos developed in time for the next meet!! Especially the one with you and the Old Leather Pickers sign

My and Sticky had a great blast home... he had a nice slide, tail out and it sounded really nice... was bloody freezing all the way home listening to the sticky Zorst! As he rightly siad I could kip in it! Zorst Envy!
We had a conversation about clear film to protect the front of the bonnet in the pub...
and duly he proceeded to make my mind up on the way home... crossing the line on Huds road going very fast with me behind him... "obviously catching" i ended up with the entire west yorks gritting deposits sandblasting my motor... its even in the back seat Least he made it up by getting the Tea on!
Thanks again to all , a good meet...
Or and it was 75 under the bridge! hehe! you must had soemthing stuck under the loud pedal, evosticky!

Sticky: Very nice motor M8, top colour obviously! Is that enough grovelling for you to let me off that pint? I'll owe u another soon when I need a couple of stickers re-doing after the new splitter arrives from Japan .
Edited to add, thanks for asking Dave but got home to chaos & mayhem ie Little-un taken a turn for the worse in the vocal stakes

I have to admit, your car was looking pretty damn stable on that last roundabout - i'll stick a camcorder to the Type RA next month so we can all enjoy it together I'll put my lack of roundabout taking ability to the 16" alloys and in-experience Oh well, i guess i should pick up a trick or 2 on the rally day!

Gary.. a little unfair mate
I had that crappy people carrier in between that let you out at the pub.. plus I had 7 cars behind (note to self: we MUST get a camera on that bend next time 8 of us 'Red Arrow' down there) .. as a responsible wing man.. it was my duty to keep the Squadron together... Flight Sergeant Rear Gunner Evo, made sure our tails were free of enemies.. until Pilot Officer Dazza took over duties.. Tally Ho!!
You on the other hand, being a Top Gun 'Maverick' could do what you wanted.. looking good and posing..... Which you did very well..!!
The Squardron did catch up on the down hill left as we approached ..oh.. 64 MPH... then came the roundabout...
Andy..
Sorry about the lights.. Sqn Ldr Sonic did tell me about them after tailing him in to 'The Bridge'. I'll get them adjusted overe the weekend... Your Horbury Bridge speed was very... err... let me see... 'Enthusiastic'.. I didn't get chance to flash and wave Bi as I went to Wakey.. I just saw the tail lights dissapear around the junction... quickly..
Five grins... must have been a good night..

Al,
The "enthusiastic" bit was probably due to me crawling through there stuck in traffic most times so when the coast's clear... Couldn't you keep up?
It's getting the fine line between enthustistic / ******** / nicked / pranged sorted when the red mist is present - I tried to calm down a bit after then as it gets into tyre & suspension mashing roadworks
That corner where I turned left and you went straight on can be dodgy as it's normally a 1st/2nd gear job with anchors on - not a high speed cruise round as it's *** paper clearance time for cars coming the other way I've had a moment or two there.
Next time it'll be a bit more sedate...

Andy... I'm not sure about the 'authoratative' precence around there.
So I did back off a tad..
Sqn Ldr Gary... Wilco mate.. good idea... I'll ask for a 'recon' trip to check out if it's clear before the next meet. It was quite a chunky roadwork and may be there some time as it works it's way up the road...
Damn.. the 13th seems to be dragging... Dave, ave a word and make it hurry up!!

Hey gang, thought i'd get my thanks in to Al and all who turned up again, I think to make it a new record turn out...
Scary letting bro drive me home, he nearly took out the mini traffic island on the exit of the car park, LOL. I was a nervous wreck for the next 4 1/2 minutes... before the car was safely on the drive... Never again...
C U all next month!

Simon,
He did look kind of worried. Nervous anticipation?
I made sure I was out of the car park before he set off (yes, nearly hitting that friggin Island, again); though it would have been cool to see your face as he pulled away!
Regardless of age and experience, I must admit that you're a braver man than me...

I'm just waiting for him to register on here so he can post some defensive messages...
Alan, to be honest, I only saw it at the last minute. I know I want new alloys but that aint the way I want to go about it...

I mentioned handing him the keys the other day, and his face lit up. But I am really not that brave... Only just renewed my insurance yesterday... Don't suppose his insurance will be too keen on insuring him in a car that has 240bhp more than his usual daily driver. Insurance is such a barsteward for 18 yr olds, even on a 1000cc Corsa... I keep telling him though, the best things come to those who wait...
Chris
Thursday sounds good to me, touch base with you in the next day or so....
Cheers
