Default West Yorks - Fenay Bridge - 26th Feb

It's great to see the number of people and cars attending, increasing each month. 13 Cars at the last meet; a record turn out I think..

The next meet will be the 26th @19:30 (Last Thursday timing as usual)

Normal evening with Food, drink, chat and cars to oggle...

Dissapointingly, only a few people turned up in wearing their xmas pressies.

Me in my 'Shgadelic' socks.
Andy with his non-musical, but topical, Scooby Doo Tie..
And Phil with his hilarious 'Filthy Monkey' T-Shirt.

Tut tut leather pickers... we can do better!!

It was great to see Dave and Helen driving up in their new pride and joy... about time too!

Gary's thunder was stolen slightly (eh Sonic?) with his new Motor on show too.. BIG brakes or what?

Phil's handy work was on show with stickers galore on dsiplay.

Thanks to Andy and Julie for comming to their first Bridge meet and showing off those 19" OZ's. Nice.

My apologies if I missed any other new 'Leather Pickers'? We will hopefully be seated back by the fire on the upper landing for the next meet..

As the numbers continue to grow, confirmation of attendance would be nice (even if probable) as I can possibly book the whole landing area...

Al.

Sorry, but I saw nowhere to 'declare'!!!

I was wearing my Subaru Prodrive official Merchandise timepiece, and carrying the Subaru Prodrive official Merchandise pen. My keys were kept in a nice pile by deft use of a Subaru Prodrive official Merchandise keyring, and nobody even commented on my Subaru Prodrive official Merchandise jacket. Not to mention the quarter tank of Subaru Prodrive official Merchandise Optimax (?) that was bought for me by the missus on Xmas eve. (still Subaru related!!!)
Don't even ask about the boxer shorts with Subaru Prodrive official Merchandise skidmarks.

It's a bit too late to come out the closet now, isn't it?

Too late to say 'I had that' and 'I wore that'.. Proof!! That's what was needed. Most people saw my socks, Phil's T-Shirt suited him to a T (filthy monkey), and Andy's tie.. was.. well.. worth the visit to the Bridge alone.

Martin, I could barely see anything mate. The acceleration warp factor made me see back in time... it was like a Startrek episode, where everything goes all wobbly a n d s l o w .... When I woke up, it was 5 minutes before we set off.. still with me?

I do remember a little gadget that you tried to make go red.. but it refused..regardless of the ammount the accelerator pedal was mashed into the carpet..

Cool

Hey kids, how we all doing in the new, ahem, "improved", Scoobynet?

I didn't get no pressies for Christmas, apart from the DBA brake discs and Hella lamp kit that i'd fitted to my motor Does that count? You didn't say anything about the person or the car wearing new items...

I will be there at the end of the month, so you can stick my name down mate.

Laters....

Simon

Mmmm, now to bounce to t'other thread from CB...

Well guys - count me in for the 26th Feb. Promise I won't go out illicit drinking again the night before....

Might be able to show off my official Prodrive/ScoobyNet Xmas haircut - a present from Kath (if that counts Al?). There again, you lot might not notice by the time 26th Feb comes around....

Nick, not got any PM. I'll try sending one...

Al, are you sure it was a disclaimer he made you sign, or a dry cleaning contract for the seat?

Definately a disclaimer. There were words like;

G Force blindness, Brakeforce whiplash, Dump Valve Deafness, cornering coronary that sort of thing. And there was some bit about him having the right to use tongues on any first aid mouth to mouth..

I still signed it.. cos he's a nice lad...

Hi Kingy mate. Nope, still across the fence from your old gaf....

House at H*******n just about finished. Kath's dad is doing the undercoating, ready for me to start the onslaught of gloss...

Glad you're garaged now! See you on the 26th!

Cheers, Chris.

Hey, Kingy, how are you mate...

Just wondering if that was you that I caught a wave from in the garage last weekend??? I gave a little pip back as I got down the road as I didn't think you would have seen me wave through the pimp tints

If it were you, the motor was looking very smart and clean indeed. I was a little startled at first to see a UK300 there!!

Hope it was you now, t'otherwise i'll look a bit of a plank here...

Maddy, that's the best idea you've had today..

How do we go about this? Hosting, site setup etc.... are you a 'geezer' on the old Dreamweaver then?

Would be pretty kool.. gallery.. events.. etc etc... either mail me off line or post here to get everyone's views and ideas.. excpet from Phil, who will have it sponsored by some p0rn sites in seconds.. eh mate?

Honestly though... let us know what's involved and we'll see what we can do.. thanks for the offer...
