Gentlemen: I have already e-mailed privately, some participants in response to querries. Np problem.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning I received a number of faxes from Hybrid. These were from Australia so I conclude that all the kits are being sent complete from there and not in two deliveries as happened previously. (The other part being from H.K.) The faxes were copy International Customs Declarations so I assume the kits went Tuesday and will be in the U.K. on Monday.
So in addition to those already mailed by me:
John H.
John L.
Ken Mac.
Adam L.
Barry C. (Hi mate. How you doin'?)
Fraser M.
Paul T.
Richard L.
I recon these are the people who have already paid in full with confirmed payment. (Mainly Paypal)
When I know more I will post further.

To re-iterate to a couple of guys pestering me for G.B. 3.
Sorry if you have been hibernating and only just woken up but we have had the first two GBs running from early November until mid/late February and there had to be a cut-off time. I think a total of 38 or 39 units were ordered between the two G.Bs. When the second G.B. is substantially delivered and we have more fitting feed back then I will look at G.B. 3. To do so any earlier would be unwise and not in your best interests.
In the meantime I can arrange a separate purchase as a one off unit for 825$ U.S. if anybody is that desperate. harveysmith1@btopenworld. do not use the mailbox on S/Net as I have already lost several messages/answers and only look there infrequently.

I do not mind helping people and this G.B has taken a lot of time and effort to do properly. There is nothing in this for me and I have no obligation to Subaru owners or to wipe peoples backsides so if any individual pesters me further about another G.B. I will block their e-mail address from my contact list.

In the meantime I want to ensure that all the first 38/39 no. are satisfied.

Mika Mate. If you see this please let me know if you have received all your bits?

Mika: If nothing in a couple of days please e-mail me and I will do a bit more about it.
Ante: You have my e-mail address. Delivered price and you are responsible for import duty/vat if any. Up to £120 max but some paid nothing and some paid £80. The luck of the draw.
Delivery when, where, payment method. Use my e-mail address.

Hello Harvey,
Cheers for the info mate. I got mail from Mr Chan on monday saying goods were going to be sent out that day so it's nice to know my new toy will be here soon.
Also thanks for the group buy on the fuel pumps and regs. They turned up last week and are now awaiting fitment. If anybody can supply any info on how to fit and set up my new toys please let me know.
Thanks
Barry C

finally got round to having the fmic fitted after its sat in the spre room since early jan!

it looks really good on the car (96 wrx) but the 2 mechanics that fitted it siad it was a nightmare! the amount of cutting on the bumper was horrendous and when put back on the lower portion of the bumper actually covered 4 or 5 rows of the fmic.

resolved this problem by completely removing the lower centre section of the bumper all together. managed to retain the a/c and the fod lights with no problems though.

have an entire roll of photos showing the start to finiish as well. it really transforms how the car looks and i am looking forward to being able to carry out the other mods now i have completed the first item on the list

There is a Hybrid FMIC Fitting thread in the projects forum, please feel free to add your photos/fitting experiences there.

Was it only us "poor finnish boys" in GB 2 that chose to wait for the unpolished set ?
We didn't send any money yet since we got mail that it would take like 6 weeks before those sets will be available. I also didn't want to bother him with more questions regarding those before the polished ones had been sent out, but it seems that has happened now, so maybe I'd better send him some money....
Or maybe it's best to send him an email first

Ok, email sent and I got a very prompt reply. Unfortunately the unpolished coolers are still unavailable...
not yet
the polished one is still on back order so we are still trying to
meet the production requirement
But still, were we the only ones to go for the unpolished?

If anyone's interested, I'm selling a brand new Walbro high-flow fuel pump for £95 posted. You'd have it by the middle of the week

Gentlemen : I have been in touch with Mr Chan and he confirms that the 11 people I e-mailed personally last Tuesday/Wednesday (can`t remember) after I had received by fax, the International Customs Declaration for 11 group buy members will receive their intercoolers in the next day or two. They were despatched from Australia last week. Previously one intercooler pipe was coming from Australia and the balance from Hong Kong but in future kits will come complete from Australia.
I am also aware that Mr Chan has been in contact with other group members seperately confirming receipt of payment etc.

Has anyone got a source for black mesh to fit as a FMIC protector.

I just think cars look like they belong in Max Power with the FMIC showing and want something that looks as standard as possible!!

Or alternatively advice on whether spraying it black is a viable option!!
