Second Hybrid FMIC Group Buy.
#154
Gentlemen : As some of you already know there has been a problem with the banking system and a number of payments including our initial deposits from the previous group buy went to Beijing, not Hong Kong. That coupled with a delay in sorting out who wants polished or unpolished has put a week on the job but I hope to forward the funds by express delivery Friday latest.
I still have issues to resolve with three group buyers and they will receive personal e-mails direct tonight. If you do not get an e-mail then your requirement is quite clear.

Harvey, ignore the PM I sent you as it is obviously too late to join the group buy. Could you provide me with details on how to buy this Intercooler outside of the group buy please mate?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Gentlemen : At 10.00 this morning I arranged with the bank to send the deposits for 21no. Hybrid intercoolers and this time requested express transfer. It only took until 16.50 for the funds to be converted into dollars and leave my account. My branch had actioned the transaction in my presence by 10.30 so again it is the International Division working at the speed of light.
A minor consolation is that we have an even better exchange rate than the original group buy.
I have now been in touch with Hybrid and will start checking with them on Tuesday for receipt of funds. Once funds are confirmed in the new Hybrid account you will all, individually, receive an e-mail with all the contact and payment information. The instructions will be simple but it is imperative you follow them to the letter to avoid some of the problems of the first group buy.
Regards,
Harvey.

I assume you also included the deposits for the unpolished ones ?

Gentlemen: The money was transferred on Friday by express clearance and confirmed in Hong Kong tonight.
e-mails have gone out to all participants at the e-mail addresses on their A4 detail sheet. If you have not got an e-mail you have not sent the requested sheet or detail which makes organising this quite difficult.
Good luck with your individual purchases and fitments.
Ensure that communications with Hong Kong are clear, concise and unambiguous to avoid confusion experienced with the previous group buy.
Best wishes and regards,
Harvey and Dawn.

Communiction from Hong Kong
Harvey - I sent an e-mail to Hong Kong last night as you suggested in your post and received a reply which I saw this morning. I just wanted to check on something (I have also of course mailed Hong Kong for clarification)
- should the e-mail address for payment be a hotmail one.
The reason I ask is that I received an e-mail asking for payment to a homail address. I was cutting and pasting from the e-mail from Hong Kong to make sure I got it right when making the payment when I realised the address did not have a T in it.
If homail is correct then no problem but otherwise caution is needed as you said with communication from Hong Kong!

AFAIK all from the 2nd groupbuy are still awaiting their kits, and some of the guys from the 1st groupbuy are still waiting for odd parts to theirs?
Maybe it's wise to let the man in Hong Kong get these settled before confusing him with a 3rd groupbuy....

Chaps are dreaming about 3th groupbuy and I'm still waiting the goods from the first groupbuy. This is just my opinion, but it's a shame that Harvey and all others who were involveded this groupbuy did a great job by organizing this and guys from Hong Kong are buggering this up 'cause they can't organize a simple delivery system.
Maybe there's a little green-eyed monster sneakin in my voice, 'cause many guys have already finished their installation and I'm still waiting those damn parts. Which by the way have already sent one time, but only the God knows where they have sent them.
Cheers,
Mika

The plan is to have a third group buy in May when all of the first two group buys have been delivered and fitted. (38no. in total from memory)
As Mika has highlighted there are communication problems and the first kits came part from H.K. part from Oz and some kits, mine included were short of odd bits. Did not cause a problem to me but has to a few others.
Phone H.K.? Be my guest. Do you speak Honk Koongese?
Sorry you missed the G.Bs. They have been running since early November.
Any outstanding e-mails will be dealt with tonight.

Paypal is the biggest load of *****!!!!!!!!!
Having just waited for 5 days for my account to be verified, i have tried to make payment just now, and it won't allow it ffs!!!!! I spoke in length with some spod as to what was going on and was told that paypal have blocked it as a high risk transaction, and that i will not be able to make payment to Mr Chan on that e-mail, or amount!!
I cannot carry out a bank transfer at the moment, so what do i do?

I would check that with PayPal before doing it; but it seems to be what they suggest on their site!
