Suggest some of you guys read the posts to date and you might like to refer to the original G.B. thread. There is lots of info in there and all the questions are answered I think.
Will look through tonight if I have time and try to clear up any querries not already answered.
Will also post closing date and time table.
The price is 708$, work on 1.75/£ to be safe. Add a bank transfer fee of £20 or whatever and add £80- £100 if you are charged customs duties and that is what you pay. 100$ less for unpolished.
After closing date the price for one offs is 825$ unless we do a third group buy.

Gentlemen:
Andy/Saxito. Spain no problem. No money required yet. See post from me on previous Hybrid Group Buy.
Dougie/others: These are universal FMICs to fit all classic Scoobs so I see no reason they will not fit P1s or any other variant or M/Y.
Completing mine is interupted as I am fitting a turbo and injectors at the same time (not here yet) but there is more work than with an APS kit but not too dificult and worth it IMHO. Differing work may be required from model to model to take into account various spec differences but nothing drastic.
Intercooler is substantial and well made.

As the formula for the last group buy worked well, I propose we follow it again.

I suggest the following time table:

Entries finalised and on the list Wednesday 28 January.

All deposit cheques, bank transfers or payments via Paypal for deposit of £100 received Wednesday 04 February latest. Group buy closed.

Wednesday 11 February, all deposits paid to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong confirm receipt of funds and each group buy member is given all relevant information and makes payment of balance to suit their requirements and delivery timescale.

Final payment can be via Paypal or bank transfer. Final option would be international money order via air mail.

It is important that the list is kept accurate and up to date so please get your name on or off as the case may be.
I will give other information and answer any questions this week-end.

Deposit is £100 which is taken off the full price of 708$ polished kit or 608$ for unpolished and painted silver. These prices are delivered to your door. You will have to settle import tax/duty. U.K. estimate = £80-120.

If this proves another success I will consider another G.B. end April/May if there is demand. The current price for these intercoolers outwith the group buy is 825$

Question

I'm also possibly interested.

Does the intercooler HAVE to be painted if ordered unpolished? Or is that just a question of looks?

Hello Peeps

Does this fit a MY03 STi. I would expect to trim the bumper but I am refering to the internal stuff (very technical, can you tell), like pipes and stuff.
Also does it fill (width) the hole in the front bumper.

I am very interested in this too.
I am also looking for the driving lights to stay.

The price to your door is very tempting indeed

The Hybrid FMIC is currently for classic shape only.
The group buy will close soon so get your name on now and be ready with the £100 deposit if you want to make good savings on a well made FMIC.
Will post fully Monday night.
Any questions, lets have them.

My car is 95 sti.
The Hybrid fmic kit is it the same for all classic cars?
I.e. pre 96, pre99 (hard pipe routing) or do you have to state specific year model.
Can you retain your standard dump valve?
Has anyone fitted one of these kits with the HKS induction kit?

Harvey YHM

I have competed my FMIC install and have posted some piccies HERE

To retain the standard dumpvalve you will need to adapt yours as the outlet on the pipework is 38mm. I am using a VTA and had to machine a new flange to enable me to use it.
