I've posted on the first thread, so i'll post it on here too.
I will probably be selling mine when it arrives this week due to change of plans on the car.
If anyone is interested please mail me (some of you already have)
I'm just trying to see if anyone would be interested in taking it.
No mark up on it, just what i paid for it.

Gentlemen:
Miki:Thanks for getting the ball rolling.
Mika:I thought you guys would have your wives trained by now and they would know you think more about your cars than you do about them!!! Anyway I have the solution for you. I can swap an FMIC for a wife or two, as long as it is the right specification so check it out with the Subaru owners of Suomi.!!!
Tone: If you want your FMIC quick then why not do a deal with Johnny 50. If you are not in a hurry then let us know so somebody else can do a mutually beneficial deal.
I will check on red couplers but last time I checked it was blue only. You could buy your own couplers in red if the colour is important.
Changing to a FMIC does not necessitate a re-map if that is the only change but it would be necessary if you were doing other mods. If changing the fuel pump and fitting an FPR then it is advisable.
See the previous FMIC thread for cheap sources of fuel pumps from the U.S and FPRs from AS Performance £95 delivered with guage on the regulator.
Closing date can be set for later this month with a final payment date of mid February if that suits the majority?
(edited to say regulator and not pump)

Harvey... i've spoke to Johnny50 but he may have a better solution for him (i.e sombody has the MY00 intercooler he wants and they want the FMIC ).
I've rearranged a few things so im not in such a hurry now.... end of April at the latest tho. Im out of the country too from the 14th Feb to 22nd Feb so ideally i'd like to have the payment date either before or after this.
Has anybody from the 1st buy got one fully fitted yet (with fogs in place).
Tony.

I now have the intercooler in my possesion...
but not for long...as it's off to our man Andrew
Please note...i'm NOT making a profit on this.
It's purely down to a change of plan.
(had an email accusing me of buying and selling it for profit, but i wont name names. Will just leave it at that)
Best of luck folks..

John - If you want a look at the kit before confirming then I should have it in the next few days.
Tony - I'll check ASAP what will need to be done to ensure that the driving lamps can stay.
It does appear that the later dispatched kits are arriving with all the required hose joiners and correct pipework.

I didnt follow the last thread, but Im curious.
You say this IC kit needs some modification to fit?? Is it not designed for a Subaru or what is the problem ??
I might be interested in a kit or two but would like to know what the issues are with it..
Has anyone used it yet, and have feedback as to its performance potential compared to other IC's ??

Have a look at the first thread and there are links to Harvey's fitting pics (pre97 car).
The kit is designed for a Subaru, I think the fitting issues are just 'fine tuning' really. Just like the Pace kit... everybody seems to say they need slight mods to get it right. APS kits had the problem with one of the pipes knocking etc. At this price im prepared to do a bit of swearing to get it to fit

The kit is for Subaru's. I am currently fitting one to an MY96UK Wagon, the intercooler is fitted along with the pipework from it into the engine compartment. I have encountered a problem with the turbo outlet to wing section with regards to clearance to the turbo but will resolve this very shortly I will post some pictures soon as I hope to have mine completed in a few days

This is a one size fits all (Imprezas) kit, so it doesn't allow for the slight differences in engine layout and bodywork between the various MYs and regional models.
The original test fittings were done on an STi5 I believe although the pipework appears to be an HKS copy (and the core looks suspiciously like the Hyperflow FMIC).
