I have an MY99 and my friend has just picked up his brand new 225 bhp Coupe.

I have to say the detailing is gorgeous- it's like a spaceship inside and is superbly finished. I've driven a demo Roadster and thought it was good but not a patch on the Scoob. Mind you I'm used to the Scoob and couldn't get comfy in the TT.

If I had the money and no son to cart around then Id give the TT serious consideration. I'd want to take it on a long (pref weekend) test drive, but the dealers won't allow that. A bit of a cheek if you're coughing up £32k

 

Well, I've gone and done it. The P1 is ordered, delivery currently set for September 1st.

As for getting a long term test drive on the TT, the best Audi will offer is 24hrs. I had great difficulty getting my local dealer to do this, but as my leasing company orders direct through Audi Central, I managed to get a lot of pressure put on the dealer, and eventually they agreed. If you really want a long test drive, be persistent.

Anyway, why bother with a TT, get a P1, they're much more fun to drive.
