Used to drink in an Outcasts pub, just near Mile End Stadium. A more friendly, welcoming and safe pub I've yet to discover in London. However, its gone now, poss as a result of the war that was referred to in the program, along with the other pub they had top of Mare St.

Say that too about the Angel's place further out the other side of Stratford, but it wasn't a regular haunt of mine. All you want is a pleasant drink in friendly company.

HA gangs in Scandinavia are worse, gang fights with their arch enemies the Bandidos. I think it was on Titangade in Copenhagen in 1996 when a bandido fired a rocket launcher into an apartment block where an HA party was taking place? Nice.
