Sure am. That guy (Sonny Barger) who breathes through a hole in his throat and puts his finger in it to talk is freaking me out

With all their strange initiations, I think they're up there with the Masons.

As a biker I met quite a few of them. Most of them were quite religious and were very pleasant guys. They spend a great deal of time supporting charities and doing other good works.
I would not criticise them unless I knew the full facts about them and their particular chapter and that they were of poor character.

I was watching the programme yesterday and saw a clip towards the end of a guy present from the Windsor chapter at the annual meet in the USA. All this talk of them being involved in violence and criminal activity is just that talk. I use to work with this guy for a few years and he was a real stand up guy. Would help anyone out, was very very intelligent. Was never violent and was a really hard working bloke that often did 16 hour days. Just because it is on TV, it don't make it true...

Aren't the Scandanavian Bikers the worst?
I seem to remember a story a few years ago where they had a large stash of weapons confiscated & it included machine guns and rocket launchers

Have been to a bike event a couple of years running hosted at a biker pub. The pub grounds are basically split in two, one half where the Hells Angels lot go and one half where the rest of us go. One of my mates mates who knows a lot about some of the gangs and their colours as he used to be a member of one was very strong in his advice as about not to mess with them especially after everyone had been drinking. And that was coming from someone who is a total nutter and whose job was debt collecting with a shotgun and had done time for his career
Basically they kept themselves to themselves and we did the same and all was fine. I also made sure I did not take the route back from the bar that went past their tents as one drunken trip over a tent peg could have landed me in a world of pain
Like in any walk of life there are good people and bad people. Its just telling which are which when they all look the same and hang around in the same groups!

Daz - that event was featured in the programme last night. They publicly kissed and made up in the end, although behind the scenes they had agreed 'territories' for drug dealing.
We used to drink in an Angels pub in Bristol years ago called The Cutter in Bedminster (long since demolished)if anyone remembers it. They were really kind to us 'cos they knew we were into bikes too. Most of them worked at Rolls Royce as engineers. However, you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of them. I could tell some tales, but best left unsaid.

I have met a few.... and the most amazing thing about them is how many of them have Degrees!!! They are one bunch of well educated mothers.
Maz Harris springs to mind Luke, had a PHD, met him at the Bulldog Bash many years ago, was a really nice bloke.

Scotland is one of the few biker orientated countries not to have a HA chapter. I used to run with a few of the angels years back, up here we have the Blue Angels though, although there is talk from the lads I still see of a HA merger happening.
