Afternoon Fella's,
Seeing as I'm still not sure if I'll be able to make it on Thursday, I thought I'd put a pic up of what I've been upto since I was last at the FB.
Its probably not to everyones taste, and I did it myself so it aint perfect, but I like it....
Stickers & Flaps
opinions always welcome wether good or bad.
Sorry about the crap quality & size of the photo, dunno how to make it bigger
Phil

On the back of the positive comments, I have raised $14 Million dollars to have a go at the presidency.
Phil gave me $10 million from his personal fortune, hence him having to do the graphics himself. But he will be given Texas to run his motor on.
Nice job, mate. You had better make it down, or the barell awaits.....

Barrell ???
well hopefully I'll get there (poor *** misses me)
saved myself a few tanks of the good stuff by doing it myself and also wanted to keep up the good Yorkshire tight assed tradition.
If you want a "no.1" or a "secretary" or "Campaign manager" for your organised days/nights just ask as I can be quite good at dishing out pain (12 years of Wado-Ryu)or so I'm told.
Still very much hoping to get to the next meet, but still depends on work.
Thanks for the comments so far, and anyone up for Chrissy's suggestion about a day out at the pod ?? They're a good bunch of guys,if a little mad (ey Chrissy) and I had a pretty good day out with them all yesterday.
Phil
BTW dont forget the charridee thing I'm trying to organise, I dont expect everyone to be interested or man enough
any help greatly appreciated , and it would be for a good cause.
hopefully see ya all on Thursday

Madgrip, saw your group buy thing on Blackjax. Definately interested. Hope to speak to you on thursday, but if you don't make it I'll follow it up on here.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Speedy Duck, the meet has got everything to do with Scooby Doo. We usually get in the back of the Mystery Machine, then knock around West Yorkshire solving 'phantom' related crime.

Love driving my Scoob in the snow - great fun (especially with the DCCD set to open) you get all the fun of rear wheel drive and then when you get stuck push the DCCD to full lock and get unstuck in a matter of seconds!!
As for other comments - I thought I must just be missing something!!
But Al steps in & said exactly what I was thinking! Nice 1 M8

Martin,
I'll be bringing the 'dead' headunit and wiring along for you to work your electrical magic... if that's still OK?
Providing we can actually get there! Saw GMTV this morning and guy stood near the moors in a blizard. Looked out my window. Lovelly sunny day! Weird.
As for playing in the snow, my old WRX went up Mount Olympus (yes really) in Cyprus when the snow had halted Shoguns and other Jap 4 wheel drive stuff. Don't ask me how.. Great driving?

Chrissy, it's at the Fenay Bridge pub, which isn't on any maps you're likely to find. There's a bunch of us going through in convoy from Wakefield, and we'll more than likely be going straight under the M1 at Junction 39. There's a hotel just there (Cedar Court) How about meeting there, we should be passing at about 7:15

Sticky,
we won't be going that way.. ie down the A636 / Calder grove.
We go down the A642 through Horbury. No cameras and a better run.
Its best to meet at the Holmfield arms heading in towards Wakey.
See above..
Edited to say..CORNER!! .. see page before

Cheers Al...
Chrissy, if you're still up for it I'll meet you at Cedar court at 6:55, and then we'll meet up with the rest at the Holmfield arms for 7:00.

Sticky Stuff, were you heading down Doncaster Road last night at about 6:30? I had a UK Scoob not fare behind me (the Scoob turned right at Nostell Priory torward Ryhill), i wasn't in the Type RA tho' (i'd been lumbered in the girlfriend's old 1.3 Fiesta).
I know this post belongs in Was It You, but it was hardly a Scoob to Scoob encounter

I was sat trailing behind some prat in a 205 for ages (car cluttered up to the point where he couldn't see out of his back-window) he turned off towards Featherstone, then i got stuck behind another slow car (prolly that Metro who turned right towards Ryhill, just in front of yourself)... all this combined with a shed-load of boy-racers in dodgy Astras and 'souped-up' Escort convertables, had me wishing i was in the Scoob
That road can be quite good fun when it isn't peak-time*.
Kel
* and you aren't in a Fiesta.

Guys.. Scoobynson (?)
My lad has been nagging me for bloody ages about taking him to a meet. I've given in..
The Bridge say it's OK, but we would have to sit on the other side to where we normally sit (by the food ordering bar).. if you don't mind.
If there are any other kids nagging to go.. then Sean would be happy to talk Scoobs and football all night... He's 11.
