Finally got into a game just now

Kept getting "no games found" until some kind chap called Roger created a room, 62ms ping, straight in. Generally good conenction, couple of lag problems but you see that on Live to.

Just need to go read up on using headsets

OK tried x-link and can not get it to work [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Have no idea why it wont work! Any ideas? Firewall is letting out the traffic so not that.

are you running a router in addition to any software firewalls and if so are ports 34518 and 34519 directed to pc running x-link

Yeah have a router but there is no where obvious on the router to set up port forwarding

On my router I have a virtual server configuration where it allows me to set public port, private port, port type and host ip address.

I know its udp and what the pc ip address is but what port numbers go where? What is the private port number for example (ie the pc one?)

Please add me to messenger if you have time to explain via there!

Well it works fine with xlink Kai for some reason and have just been racing on there and its superb

Although I am very cr@p but dont care

Reckon the only race I won must have been against a little kid!

Have no idea why normal xlink doesnt work but if anyone wants some online racing on the kai version then let me know

Sorry, been having my own little problems

, i'm currently trying to work out how to mount a hard drive lol, xbox has i.p 0.0.0.1 when it's running a game

Glad you got it sorted, think we've got more than enough scoobynetters for a game or two of our own

No worries mate, glad for any help. Hope some more people have the Kai version on here otherwise i'll be racing on my own from scoobynet! It also seemed when looking at both versions that Kai is generally more popular, there were more games listed on the Kai version than just the xlink version.
