Unhappy

There's a link to the advert in the post.

Your right, I bought it in December last year. However, I'm having to move from Sunny Cumbria to Cheshire having changed jobs. I'm faced with a 35mile each way commute (the house prices near my new office are bloody ridiculous) and also occasionally having to use the car for work so a Type R is no longer practical

D'oh!

Just spotted the link, the person I had in mind has by the looks of things already PM'd you.

What you going to replace it with?

Doesnt sound like a bad move though.. Cumbria to Chesire

Default New Wheels?

Hi. Not had the chance to get on the net for ages due to work so a LOT of catch up reading to be done! Just spent the day pampering the car inside and out and to be honest, im knackered from polishing it!

I've decided to get some nice shiney new wheels for it but cant decide on which ones. Thes Rays would be good if you get them in 18" but dont know if you do. I'm kind of thinking along the lines of MO 6 spokes (gold) or what Peccy had on it before, P1's in anthracite. Any thoughts? Alternative wheels?

Cheers guys,
Doug.

Hi guys. Seems like the type r thread is going a little quiet these days?!

Anyway, i'd like to wash the covers from my front seats but dont know if its a good idea taking them off or not because of the hassle of putting them back on. Has anyone done this before? I've also been thinking about getting my dash covered in black suede or a similar sort of material. Does anyone know where you can get this done or material from?

Cheers,
Doug.

Wink Newbie

I brought myself a Type R three weeks ago and it still makes grin, it had that great Scooby trait the rough idle, went and brought a new Air Flow Sensor today so hopefully that'll clear the fault.
I imagine it's been mentioned loads of times before [no dis-respect to anyone but i wasn't going to go through all 900 odd posts] but how the hell do you get photos on!!!!
I click insert picture and it comes up with 'Enter URL', well i would....if i knew what the **** it was.

Lightbulb Photo's

Thanks for the info on posting the pictures Stiver3, don't ask why they're all different sizes, cause i have no bloomin' idea!, crap quality lighting i know, but they were taken the same weekend i got the car. [note to self but must improve photography skills!].

Forgot to add, i changed the sensor and the car runs perfect, it's daft something so small and EXPENSIVE, can make the car run so rough!

Yeah, i've seen them on flat4online for £85, that's crystal side repeaters, side lights and front indicators, which i think is quite resonable compared to the prices on eBay.
Soon as i've got the dosh i'm gonna get some mudflaps to give it the Rally SLA6 look.

Wink Pics as promised

Pics of the Mud flaps, i think they look rather good, Scott Lowe thanks a million for the brilliant alternate to the rip of Genuine items.
I did buy some of ebay, no brakets, a note saying you need to buy this and that, £45 they were so if you see them on there and think yeah i might do that, don't pay the extra for the quality from Scott Lowe instead.
And yes i still intend to de-Tango it

Oh yeah went F**d Fair today, had a go at a Saff on the way, i was well aware the limiter was gonna kick [120] in so backed off at 110, i then get some little **** telling me i've been done, Bloody Limiter!!!!!!!!

Hi. Dont know if this will work but these are the first photos ive taken after having had it for 8mnths. The first 3 pics are scratching on the window. Both sides are the same. Can anyone shed some light on whats causing this? Is it a common fault on type r's?

Doug.
