Cheers Mike.
Bit of a coincidence you had to put a biker in his place cause i had the same this afternoon. Even with a dodgy clutch. Coming off a roundabout on the outskirts of aberdeen a bandit600 came right up my ****. Nailed the go go pedal and surprised myself that i was pulling away from him. He gave me a wave when i let him past down the road. Very sporting.lol

the eibachs i have on my car looks very std in ride hight but i've been told that the ride is quite nice, not too firm. thinking about changing mine in the future, for somthing a little lower, whiteline do some that dop between 30-50mm which are tarmac springs, not too bothered about a had ride as it is a performance car. if you have a look near the start of this thread you'll see my car posted by the previous owner "what would scooby do" amd that should show you the ride hight

Does anyone know if the pink STI springs on a Version 6 are lower than a standard Impreza and if so by how much? Need to lower it but need to know how much lower it is at the moment if it is at all.

panel filter or induction kit
im lost, have type r, mica black, about to start modding (current totally standard) i keep reading that the scooby is best with a direct panel filter replecment, but nearly every review i read in magazines the scoobies have an induction kit? any ideas . any recommendations for exhaust system?
thanks for any help

I would stick with the panel filter as it is a better design for intakes. i have had to go for a induction kit because I have fitted a front mount intercooler. and it requires the space that the airbox was in.

I can vouch for this personally, I have had 2type Rs, the 1st came with induction which sounded great but did indeed suffer from lag.
My current car I have left airbox standard. In fact only mods I have done are a forge re-circ dumpvalve, lightened pulleys and full decat. My BHP is up at 307.
