You should try and get hold of John Banks, he use to supply an off the shelf map (Tek 2.5) and is situated somewhere in Scotland. He also has a 2.5 conversion in his own car and I should imagine does his own mapping. I don't think he supplies the 'Tek's' anymore but you may be able to sort somthing out with him. Try posting in 'Techincal' you should get his attention there.

Yep, car was on a U.K map but the engines just been rebuilt. The guy who bought it from Dave fitted a FM oil cooler and about three weeks later a stone decided to give him a bad hair day! The clinic have rebuilt it and my old man's having the pleasure of running it up to the 1000 mile point. As soon as he jumped in it to park it up the driveway he decided to get insured for it! Spoke to Andy Forrest by e-mail today and i think he's gonna sort it out, time permitting. He also recommended changing the Tek 3 to an Apexi Power FC unit. Any experience of the two?

I have heard that because of a change in the law, that it is no longer able to import Type-R Imprezas into the UK. I live in Cyprus and will importing (well shipping!) my type-R home to the UK. My Type-R is from Singapore originally (from Japan before?) and I will be getting it SVA'd in Cyprus before I take it back. I hear you can hire model reports.
Can anybody shed light on this topic?
Will I have problems?
Will it be OK as the car is already in the EU and going to another EU country.
I'm well worried now.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks.

Model Code GC847D????? WRX Type RA
Brother in law is just about to buy a WRX Type RA, has the light blue front seats, sonic blue, Close Ratio box, 280bhp, solid rear bulk head number 149 of 1000? has the model code GC847D. Its four door, has all the orginal japan paperwork, is still limited to 112mph. Is this just a special addition WRX?

What is the usual selling price for a Type RA with full document history MY 2000, 33k miles full service history. This is a mint car like it has just come out of the show room.

Is it just me, or that when you get to about 80mph+, it feels like the car could do with a 6th gear?
Could it be anything to do with my car still being restricted?

Wheels?
Hi. Although my rays are pretty darn sweet, i've decided to get a new set of wheels for the beast. Cant decide between 17s or 18s. Any thoughts? I know 18"s are best on the eye but what about the ride/handling?
