I still have the second-hand PPP ecu in my car and it goes as well as it ever did.
Boost peaks at around 17psi in these cold conditions, 15-16 normally. No power increase shown on PS' rollers, but large increase at PTS. Will be going to PE soon for another comparison. Best £350 I've spent on the car!

ok, my uk my00 car goes into Days on 20th feb for fitting of P1 alloys, prodrive spoiler and ppp. thing is, at the moment i have a fully decatted exhaust, which has increased performance (and noise!).
however, i've read here and there that the ppp will only work properly with the exhaust system that prodrive fit. is this true? will it overboost if i fit my decatted exhaust back on? and am i gonna notice a significant improvement in performance over my car at present?

i can now answer my own question...

picked car up today from days.the decat exhaust is now gone, so theres a lot less noise. ppp exhaust MUCH quieter, i'm getting used to it!
speed?? jesus, this car is MUCH quicker. it feels smooth. the annoying rawness has gone, so has the lag. it goes and goes and goes!it feels amazing!! i dont know about 20% increase in torque it feels much more than this.
its earie, because you just dont stop accelerating, but no racket! it feels invincible!!
i would recommend anyone who doesnt have this to beg borrow or steal and get it!maybe i wouldnt appreciate it ,if i had it from first buying the car, but after 6 months of standard engine and full decat exhaust i notice what a hell of a difference there is. it aint strained, my car feels as though she handles better, maybe due to less vibration i dont know, but the speed this thing goes to without breaking sweat is truly wonderful!!

if i do, ive been told it will overboost!! this, apparently ( i'm no technical boffin!) is a completely bad thing!
any suggestions or way round this? my car is so quiet i dont know what gear im in sometimes!
