I would never want to knock anyone on their looks. But that aside here singing ability was poor, poor in the sence that she could never realise a pop song ! she cannot sing 'pop' songs !

Yes, she IS an idol. Kids are not as gullible as you think, and 99% of them are not gorgeous and thin, so to them this show was a huge inspiration that shows you don't have to be PERFECT.
As for her not being able to sing, whatever, clean out your ears. Just because she doesn't sing to the style you like does not mean she can't sing. Have you ever heard Madonna try to sing live? she sux, but she's doing "ok"

I just can not believe that Britain is this 'nice' ohh and at 25p a shot too. That's 25p x 10,000,000 - mmmmmm; what colour new yacht 19 & Mr Fuller. MUGS to vote and mugs with rather poor taste too (IMHO).
VOCAL TALENT is Nelly Furtado, Pink, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Kelly Rowland, Aguilera - ohh and co-incidentaly they are visually appealing too - handy for TV. BARGAIN!
Go worship at Kelly Osbourne's alter ohh ye of poor music and aesthetic taste!

Yep the only positive to come out of reality TV pop shows is that the girls tend to be good looking... i.e. cheryl from last years popstars. I can totally handle watching her videos with the sound down but fat idol? no thanks
