walwal's mate : chester-le-street
subtyper : bournopefield
miss scooby : poss at subtyper
sti paul : as performance, birtley( after alyn has fitted FMIC)
After talking to Steve Simpson, a fuel pump is not mandatory, but if its getting on a bit, its best to get a new one, (try alyn at as-performance, aprox £100ish i think, for a uprated one)
Dun Cow
A1(m) junction 63, go along A183 for a couple of miles, turn left on A1052, about half mile on the left is Dun Cow pub. Peeps start arriving 7.30ish, yap in car park, go inside, have a drink, yap some more, go home when you feel like it. (I think that about sums it up)

Cheers Paul for the info, is there any things else like spark plugs etc which could do with changing before the Gems? When are you all having the remap done and who do I need to send a cheque to?
Thanks

.................................................. ................................................
Hi received an email from Steve Simpson.
He has mentioned we need to get moving on sending cheques as GEMS is talking about price increases. So he has authorised me to post his contact details for where the cheque is to be posted and also what information Steve needs.
31 Tarnbeck Drive
Mawdesley
Lancs
L40 2ru.
1.Cheque for 50% incl vat
2.Confirm what option they want
3.Phone numbers
Steve ahs also confirmed he wont cash the cheques until the group buy goes ahead qith required numbers.
.................................................. .................................................. ..
Still haven't got the hang of this Quote lark LOL
Not sure about other things that would need doing, but Steve Simpson's mobile No is 07836635001, (no big secret, in this months Jap Performance).
If you give him a ring, have a chat, discuss what you have, what you want etc, he will probably give you a few suggestions
Paul
PS How do you do the quote thingy.

We're not entirely sure.
First ecu that went in was terrible, car was missing etc..
Second one seemed fine until about 10 minutes into mapping..then it started doing the same. Almost as if it was heat related.
We know it's not the car, as it's fine on the standard chip.
Am quite peeved, although, none of this is Steves fault at all, he done his best to get it going, but it wasn't going to happen.
Gems are looking into it just now.

Hi. Didnt want to bother SubTypeR just now, so does anyone else have a Type R? If so, where did you get an uprated fuel pump from, how much, etc? Any help much appreciated. Cheers.
