I was originally booked in for December, but had to cancel due to work commitments!!
I am now in a situation with a new baby and a distinct lack of time....I don't think I'm going to be able to get down to PE before the end of March.
I've paid my deposit (last year), so given the circumstances, can I get an extension to the fitting date??
If not, I suppose I'll have to forget it for now, but what about my deposit. I will understand if I have to lose this, but just wanted to check.
I will try over the next week or so to organise a day out (I'm oop North), so it's about 5 hours each way for me.
Also got to think of a good excuse for a day away, without the wife knowing where I've gone!!!!!

Hope to have some good news from them, at last...

My remap was done in January and basically went **** up and made the car vitually undriveable, not quite sure technically what went wrong but suffice to say i had to have it remapped again locally so the money i saved on the group buy went out the window

Hi Guys
Sorry for lack of replies as I have been very busy and lost this thread when SN upgraded. I only found it again when the GB section was formed
Glad to see you are all getting some great results and are happy with your new cars lease of life.
El and I8gtmf sorry to hear about the hassle guys.
I8gtmf, if something went wrong you should of taken it back to PE and they would of sorted it out !
Marty, Give PE a bell and chat to Robert. He will help you out and if req return you deposit !
My was going great until a gearbox bearing decided to let go a few weeks ago. The guy fixing it isnt doing a great job as its been in and out of the car twice and is now waiting another removal. I believe this is through wear and tear increased by the additional performance the car has been running over the last 3 yrs but not due to the extra performance other wise I would of scene the gears go ratherthan the bearings.
If any of you are at the Fast show at Santa Pod this weekend say hi. Ask Muddy or any of the Cov area guys to point me out, you cant miss me as I am 6ft 4" and blond haired and look about 25 .
My fuel readings are about the same as before @22-23MPG. Make sure you as for economy off boost.
Cheers
Neal

The problem was that the car wasn't capable of doing the 120 odd miles down to PE i haven't spoken to them as i'm sure they will say the same that i should have taken the car back, how i have no idea.
I needed the car fixed asap took it to my usuall garage they diagnosed the problem and fixed it as i instructed them to.
One of those things i guess.
