Top take this thread to it's logical conclusion...
I phoned Powerstation yesterday for a quote for excatly the same job. Alignment, eibachs and powerflex bushes. (This does not include bumpsteer as TSL do not offer this as an option?) And their price was Below TSL MEGA? discount, and is only £15 above the price I was trying to agree negotiate to!
Think that proves to me that I was not trying to be unreasonable, and was only after a good deal, and what I was offered was not?
I wish Trouser and all at TSL a Merry Christmas and a successful new year

Interesting point Ian about BS mod, but...
I had bumpsteer on my "to do" list, but once I had the Eibach springs on, rear drop links and geom done (all at TSL) my understeer disappeared!
Well, unless it is there for me to find if I were a better driver. Certainly within my limits the understeer I used to find is gone now...

You can satisfy some of the people some of the time, but you will never satisfy all of the people all of the time!!!

I find it a little strange, that just because some of you have had no complaints with a company, no one else should be able to have a bad experience?

I have just read this thread and to be honest I have had a lot of probems with 'Subaru Tuners' in the past. However, never from TSL...Firstly, I got my Geometry set up by them, I got there late and they had to spend ages because all the bolts were seized but it was a top job...I had to pay for mores labour but that's because IT TOOK LONGER TO DO!!! Makes sense eh? Secondly, I called them one THURSDAY AFTERNOON to get a Green Filter I needed for the SATURDAY I was told that I would get it the next day (Yeah right I thought) BLOODY NORA!!! I got it FRIDAY MORNING!!! I also have a lot of respect for the fact that they employed a lady mechanic not many places take the ability of the mechanic into account rather than the gender I did a NVQ in MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANICS part time there was a girl on the course. She said that there was very little chance that she would get employed because she was a women and what a man can lift, carry etc. a woman just can't (She eventually left before the end).
The first time I went they treated me like they knew me. They were very polite and nice, chatted with me, made me coffee etc. You don't get that stuff at most places and they let me watch the work without frowning on me (I don't know if they minded). Also, I get the 'look at the state of that' look when I take my car some places...its an old Subaru Legacy Turbo Estate its a kind of Impreza or Evo snobbery but not at TSL.
Regarding the price well you get what you pay for...haggling yeah that's fine...if they don't give you a good enough discount you can go somewhere else, but bear one thing in mind i may not know a lot about cars but you can easily get ripped off at many places TSL have got a really good rep are you willing to pay less and get ripped off you'll only end up paying twice!!!
I am self employed and work as part of a business and yes we all want to make money and make a living TSL are no different if they make millions and do a good job well good for them don't we all want to do that?!!!
Also, swearing about things and people is just not nice you should just put it down to 'one of those things' and if you are not happy go somewhere else...I'm not being funny let people know your concerns but there is no need to just slag people off. Even if for the sake of the argument TSL were in the wrong are human beings not allowed to make mistakes we all do it and making decisions everyday in business can sometimes go wrong so put it down to that. You know 'You can't please all the people all the time'. Every story has two sides and we can sometimes 'overlook' points that were said by the other party to make our 'argument' stronger. Its just a bit of advice my two pence worth.
Thanks
