After tax, basic hours (part-time at the mo, waiting for a better job to come along): a little over £7k (less than a quarter what I was on till near end of last year). Just about survivable on in surrey, if you have cheapish rent. That scooby insurance is just tooooo much for a 28yr old.

I might qualify for biggest drop in income and still owning a scooby... (maybe not last year, but a tax year or two before that was taxed on £50k).

Sorry breezer, I'm going for that one. I went from 4.5k a month TAKEHOME (international consultant) to Zero (full-time student living on my own savings and claiming nothing from the state) and drove a Terzo for the next year.
