Looking at the pics that David posted up i cant see why the fogs have to go as it does not look as if the pipe work from the intercooler is that close and would interfere with them.

And Rayman says the metal brackets that hold the fogs has to go does he mean the square plates with the round hole in which sit behind the bumper ,and the fogs bolt into ?

He said you also need a couple of reducers which dont come with the kit any idea on size ? would not want to start fitting then find out you have to wait weeks to order reducers.

And does the wing really have to come off ?

The fitting pics on previous thread didnt show this.

Just need to clear this up before i commit meself

i note that in the fitting pics on page 4, the car still has the aircon motor - one therefore presumes that it is possible to retain the aircon rad also and run the conversion with aircon?

If you look at the powerdigger site you'll see both aircon and fog lamps still insitu.
And yes it should fit a 95my ra.

Yes it will fit the RA95, done one about 6 months ago. This does require modifications to some of the pipework and a bit of cutting.

harvey wrote on the page 4: "I will have meaningful discussions and get as much information as possible to answer all the questions already raised. I would rather do this when we are in a position to be quite firm as to our needs so that our enquiry is dealt with seriously, so please be patient for just a little longer in line with the timescale already agreed."

So, please stop guessing, harvey will let us know the details, when he has something to tell us. Right harvey?

Looked at the picture on the powerdigger site and seen MY99-00 fitted with the kit (Which size kit it was we don't seem to know)

So what I would like to know is...........

Can I keep my foglamps (and by that I mean Fully functional)with the kit we would be getting?. Catalunya says it's the bigger kit.

The bumper design on the MY94-98 is different, so that photo doesn't really apply to us with the older cars. The bigger photo's posted of the blue car show the kit fitted to 97/98 but then that car doesn't have foglamps anyway.

I will put my name down for this if it all fits ok and you can keep the foglamps. I don't see the point in doing so if i'm only going to pull out at the last minute because a lack of info about what we will actually receive.

with the standard piping en the big cooler you'll have to remove the foglights. If you're a bit handy you can keep the foglight's but have to adjust the piping a bit with some sillicone. It's not a lot of work and it is possible as far as I know.

With the smaller IC it's easy i expect.

To be honest, i think i'm gonna drop out.

Even though the kit is cheaper than what you'd pay over here, there sounds like there's gonna be a lot of cutting and modifying to get it to fit right, which i just dont have the time available.

Sorry guys.

I think what ever kit you go for your gonna have to do a bit of cutting.
From what i have read the only one which dont is the Pace
And the Hybrid is gonna work out at half the price of all the other kits,so i think its worth a little extra time spent to get it to fit .IMHO

Yeah, i know that.
But i dont have the facilitys to be able to do this. No driveway, garage etc..

PLus... i'm not too bright when it comes to car stuff...

I've looked at the pace, and although as you say, it's nearly double the price, it will fit straight in.

Im not so sure that anybody that has fitted the Pace has said it will 'fit straight it'. From what i've read there was (may not now) be some work need to make it fit properly. Do a search for Pace on here and you'll hear all the tales.

Yep, no cutting. But as you say most people have found it a 'bit of a struggle' to get the pipework in etc.

imo you will get more for your money with this kit, based on the sheer size difference over other makes, rather than the purely financial considerations.

Gentlemen: I know some of you are chomping at the bit so I have e-mailed the potential supplier and will let you know when I get answers to all the questions that have been raised. The buy remains open as originally posted and when the answers to your questions are provided it is then time to commit or drop out.
