Say I was to trade as a Sole Trader, and I sold something that a kid choked on... would I be liable for things like that as well, or is it just the economical side?
If yes, how much would insurance be approx for a small web shop with a turnover of 50quid a month?
Note! I'm not doing my shop for the money, i just want the experience plus something to do in the evenings and also I want to have it on my CV
Hehe, maybe not... but say they were to like eat a bolt or something or say they bought a kids toy that fell apart after the baby put it in its mouth and it fell down it's throat and then bla bla... you get the point
Another question... My rental contract says I'm not allowed to run a business from the address... Is it legal to have the 'company address' as a P.O. Box? I do *not* want to spend 160 quid a month renting a serviced office just to get a stupid postal address
Also, my former boss has an office, and he said that I can register the company at his address for the lovely sum of 250 a year... This means that the official address would be the old office i used to work at, but I would infact be doing all my trading somewhere else and rarely set foot in the 'real office'.. Is this legal?
it's not just the expenses... it's also a lot of hassle dealing with accountants and stuff for a web-based shop that will probably generate little earnings anyway
