Cool

Highly modified Scooby versus Highly modified (lets say both 2 litres)

No competition - Cossie wins all the time

Having owned loads of Fords (Including a lightly modded Escort Cossie -420bhp/402lbs) and now a Scoob with probably slightly more bhp but slighly less torque

I owned the Escort Cossie for 3 years and have had the Scoob for 4 yrs

In a straight line - as people can say the Cossie has it - the handlings a bit crap for the Cossie - although I did have a decent set up on the Cossie to sort this - so it handles better than the standard Scoob...... to be expected........

As my mate now owns the Cossie I still drive both - point to point the Cossie wins due to uprated handling on the straights the Cossie would now lose after my new Turbo... but like I said I didnt go stupid - 500bhp would have been nice....... but at the time I had it seemed good - didnt want to get rid - just wanted to try a different car - hence purchase of Scoob

Cossies are much easier and cheaper to modify - I guess I got in at the end when I could hand over the money and get a modded product - no hassles. for the Scoob it has been years of grief...... we are only just now starting to catch up but then the Scoob is an inferior engine as I see it - dont get me wrong I like both cars and am not biased to anyone - I've driven both so have a balanced opinion.

They are both great cars...... should leave it at that....... but for out and out performance the Cossie boys have to be the winners - maybe they will show this at TOTB3 - but then a few 2.33/2.5 litres will be up against them - but then thats not exactly a level playing field - would be good to compare similar capacity engines - but then the Cossie can comfortably take very high boost - Scoobs cant........end of story..................

Waiting to be flamed

Jukebox

i told you ,you don't see hardly any cossie in the scrapers how many times do you have to be told ,

i have nothing against the scoob i think they are a good car out of the box... but i do think that you lot over rate them in all honesty....i only bought the cossie because of it looksno matter what it could do... i would only give my cossie up for one scoob and that scoob would be the 22b as it isn't mass product like the rest,it's a rare car and will hold it's money just like the Rs500 has

the rest of the scooby even the sti's ra won't hold that much ,

how many scoobs are there in the world ? millions thats why they won't hold that much money

cheers marco
