Hi jukebox, you wear baseball caps yes? lol you wont wind me up am too mature but i seem to be able to wind you up by quoting TRUE facts PMSL

Most people that have or do own both cars say the cosworth is the best!

As stu says "there only cars guys! well the scooby is the cossies a legend" PMSL

If your gonna put this in the Northern section then you should be recommending the venue to be at Elvington, not bloody Santa Pod lol!

Yes i think this could be arranged ! We could have it at Elvington as we are in the 'Nothern' sector.... I know Peccy helped arrange the scooby shootout, he might be able to sort somthing out ??

Just goes to show the level of intelligence / bravery (as in lack of ) of the Scooby peeps, that they post this challenge on a Scooby site, so as to not get any interest from the Cossie boys...

However, I am up for this, although I would prefer a track day or a longer distance, but Santa Pod is just fine...

That engine looks like it's powered by mice !!!

More cheese to the engine room !

No only joking !!! .

I always wanted a escort cossie, but still abit pricey for me.
I bought the scoob when I was 21.. Only 22 now! I know a few of the cossie boys from the S Yorks RSOC... well seems as I used to be a member, But over 1/4 mile my mates scooby did a 350bhp + sierra cossie at York everytime he went against him. His scoob was last clocked at 278bhp on the rollers at John Nobles. I have had 3 RS's myself but never a Cossie. !!

Can't beat a bit of friendly banter !!

Mike Rainbird, best in my old scooby (turbo 2000) was a 13.1 with 280bhp

hopefully the same power in my low ratio'd sti6 Type R should be faster, it is on paper anyways (if i ever drive it in standard form)

I don't think my car would go above 175mph unless I removed the rear spoiler (too much down force), as it is only a "baby" engine compared to Martin H's et al...
