There's nothing worse than being asked to arrange something by the misses. You are guaranteed to get some detail wrong and it won't be right. If she arranges it then she can't blame you and there's her problem.

She more than likely told the girl on the phone the details and he was just required to confirm and probably use his card.

Ah well, I got out of it by phoning her at work and saying "that company hasn't phoned me back yet" so now they're a bunch of useless gits and I'm back in favour.
I'll be back in a bit, I just have to go to the supermarket, wash up, make the tea and put a load of washing in
