lol @ David Glad somebody still has a taste for my bait I was getting a bit bored winding up Mark and Trout.
I do hope it's your car that takes the 1/4 mile title rather than Trouts, what with Mercs, Porsches, Sti's..... he's just too rich

OI!!!!!! get your own thread

Right... Frank came over this evening with the HKS Ind Kit and a PS O-ring.... HKS is fitted nicely, but the O-ring is slightly too small So... I was hoping to be out in the car tonight with him but it will be the morning now, Hopefully the ***** at the Subaru Garage will supply the right part this time...

Think Frank had a Quick inspection of his mats whilst i wasn't looking

Whilst tidying up my shed i noticed that i hadnt quite finished my Job on one of my shelves was a shiny fuel pump looking unused sorted that whilst Frank was En-route...
Need to adjust fuel pressue slightly and set the ISCV spot on.

Good pics rob! Ill sort out that dvd for you

Yep its definitely been interesting! lmfao

It didnt get map today as i have to uprate my clutch and it was worth doing this first before getting it remapped (otherwise another remap will be needed when the new clutch goes on).

So this weekend the Lateral Performance Clutch will be fitted (kindly sorted by Mark )

Then should be mapping next week and im going to squeeze a rolling road on the friday - just may have to call a sickie at work! lmfao

BIG BIG thanks to Rob as well. He is done so much sh*t and looked proper knackered! lmfao

Rob, loving the HKS SSQV. Definitely the best buy so far! lol (wont be saying that next week when im mapped up) pmsl

Looks fantastic! Looks like Rob has put in some hours there!!

As a complete tart, can I suggest a couple of things???

Get the sidelights, front indicators and side indicators in a smoke finish!

I know you can buy smoked side indicators, but the side lights and front indicators (best get an orange set and sell the clear set) and smoke them using a tinting spray!

The white bits look a little odd!

While you're there, get those gold stickers you were banging on about!!

Yes you are a tart and no you cant suggest anything. lol

Andy, Gold stickers are being sorted mate. Bling bling

I tried smoking them but they didnt look right. I couldnt work out if i just buggered up the spraying all if it was sh*t tint. lol

Will have to give it a go i think.

Wont it look odd though if the front is smoked and the sti rears arent??

Ive seen people spray their indicators, repeaters and side lights blackish on black cars but i think it looks to OTT

Will have a go again this weekend

Exclamation

OK, smoke the front indicators with tinting spray, buy smoked side indicators, re-wire your Morettes so the side light is in the outer lamp (you will need T4W bulbs though, but the holders are already there), and spray (using black mica paint) the sidelights.

The STI rear clusters give it a nice clean look on the back, so it's worth leaving those alone.

Been following this one in the background but looks mighty impressive.

Money, I see your bonnet pins are black. Did you buy 'em that colour or paint them? I will need some for my impending carbon bonnet and I wasn't too keen on thought of silver ones on my black car.

Also, love the fish shaped tax disc holder (4th pic from bottom in tweenierob's post)

Slow Boy

I understand they're a *good* idea if you're going for a CF bonnet due to the greater potential for 'bonnet lift' at higher speeds.

Or I am just being paranoid and unecessarily tarty?!

POC - i aint got 2 pots! Those are 4pots

lmfao at Slowboy - gold repeaters. Bling Bling!!

lol at Krade! I dont want to lower it. Ive got P1 suspension all round and it handles so well. If i lower it, i wont be able to have 5 people in the car with 18s!! Your ok, you dont have 18s and you never have 5 people in the car. lmfao

Dont forget, its an everyday driver and i cant be doing with those bumps. Id rather stick to the P1 suspension - set up is so much nicer and feels nicer.

Andy - definitely not spraying the side lights black. Was debating about this but saw a black car with it done and its a big no no! lol The good thing about the clear indicators, repeaters and side lights, is it makes all the other stuff stand out. lol

Think i may have a go at smoking though

Goldeneye - with the bonnet your buying, you shouldnt need bonnet pins but you can see when you get it. Those pins were actually blue!!!

I just sprayed them black. lol. Think i may need to get another set though and spray it black properly as everytime you open the bonnet, it rubs the paint a bit and you can see a bit of blue

Yeah rob, would have been good fun! Hopefully clutch will be done this weekend though and then mapping next week

Ill give you a call to see if your about

Judging by the 1st quote, our boy clearly likes to live dangerously. I think some Brembos are among the many group buys he's organising. Can't keep up

I now know why Money calls all his mates up whenever he goes out...it's a group buy wherever he goes Cinema, restaurants, lol.

Sorry, back on topic....
