The MY94 STI does not have red inlet manifolds either.

a WRX of that age has to be an import, as the uk spec was not a WRX.
Check fuel cap, & sun visors for JAP text.
Also log book may say imported on date, or if it was imported as new the model of the vehicle could just say '2 axled solid bodied vehicle'
Uk cars have a "BRIGHT" Button in the center dash, which alters the brightness of the clock....

IF you do get a WRX just make sure use only ever fuel it with Optimax, or Super Unleaded with Octane Booster ( or like me you could end up with the expense or a new engine or three... )

Please note that Optimax is actually not enough. BP Ultimate is the only fuel that is sufficient for an import. Even with Optimax you should really be adding Octane Booster.

Also suggest qa www.scoobyecu.co.uk remap for UK fuel.

Really helpful response there, btw, SB. After looking at their site, it's actually only _guaranteed_ to 97RON. But is 99RON capable. So chances are it's still better than Optimax. In Europe & USA it is 100RON Equivalent. Apologies for mis-information. Certainly it returns better AFR readings when I've used it....AND less knock.
