Chris : I have reported the power increases earlier in this thread. In the interests of accuracy please note I did not increase and pipe diameters. The complete APS CAK was discarded and the new K+N filter was grafted onto the existing BPM inlet tract. This greatly reduced the inlet tract length.

Richard : Sorry but I thought you were aware that I had discarded the APS CAK.

I work in CFM and the conversion I use is 1 cfm = .0745 lbs air/min .108 lb/min = 1hp. All very approximate I reckon and if anybody wants to make a comment or has more accurate factors please let me have them.

For some weeks I have been going to measure the efficiency of my current set up but other things have come in the way. I will report back when that work is done. It is quite obvious to me that the standard APS CAK and filter became a restriction on my engine by the mid 300 bhp level.

Question

John, not sure. Is MY00 bug eye? Chris is probably the one to answer if the APS CAI kit is the same for both models and whether the large BMC filter will fit???

Edited because my spellings crap after a 4 1/2 hour drive back from London!
