I was wondering when someone was going top mention the CO2?

Would have been interesting to see what Steven's car would have made with a nice cold intercooler.

For the passengers in Harvey's car, did it feel quick?

Thumbs up

Jonny, did you have an extra weight, ie passengers in yours?

Barry was asking if i had had any traction problems before and i said no, just then on the warm up run it went from 5500 to the limiter in a split second! He thought it was fuel cut, but i didnt think it was. Anyway it didnt do it on the next run. A few people thought it spun.

Mine held 1.4bar on 2 of the 5 runs, 1 run at 1bar:confused, and pulled over 310, the car was playing up on the rollers. Wasnt that bothered TBH, just happy it bettered previous figure for BHP, although dissapointed with the torque figure. Lowest mine has been at Well Lane.

Probably last one i will go to for a long while, nothing planned to alter on the engine, so no point, other than letting others see the car.

Well done guys, hung around for a good hour to see if anyone would beat my figure, had to go see Chiarks new family addition, so missed the entertainment.

Steven

steven, yeah i had extra people in the car as the last time i was on it lost traction, just wish i could have got the boost up to 1.35 like it does on the road, should have it under control for next time though

I knew i should of taken him up on the offer of more people in the car, and i should have waited on changing the tyres!

Interesting to see that your torque figure is as compartively low as mine, when compared with BHP.

Last time i did 343bhp and 325lbft, this time 361bhp and 305lbft

Cool

David,

I would check out the coils...

...my ignition system is working fine. Although it could be a faulty unit.

Looks Like Well Lane is going to have to spend some cash with the rate of development on the scoobs, 1000 bhp 4 wheel drive rolling road required.......

Harvey - Congrats on the results You've definately surpassed our expectations with our P450 hybrid turbo 419lb-ft of torque is astounding out of a 2L It's nice that it happens 4K rpm and above... otherwise you'd need a new gearbox much earlier on.

spen555

for once i wasn't asked to get in the car to weigh it down.... I must be getting thinner... thinking it was standing next to Jonny that did it . I was criticised for having too many Macdonalds cartons in my Scoob last time - me.................nahhhhh wrong bloke.....honest

Excellent Harvey and Ion

Will see what I get with the interim Andy Turbo - has someone emailed me and told me the amount for the Ion turbo......

I win the competition for best T-shirt on the day!!!!!!!

Steve's bored of winning these events now, so he's trying for the lowest possible power.

Having said that he was cutting it fine as the Audi put down enough power to have beaten a scoob with a problem.

I was hoping for a few poor performances on the Scoobs........ but yep very fine line!!! - at least I know what power the daily driver kicks out........ its nippy enough for me!!!

Jonny's car was very impressive not having gone internal - I got 360bhp before going internal - although I strongly suspect that this is the difference that a bigger turbo makes........ as Alan Garrod has had about 400bhp....................

Alan is using one of Andy's TD05-06 upgrades just like Jonny but Jonny has not gone front entry (YET)!!! so with the modest mods done to date 372bhp is a cracking result.

Harvey,
How do you mean copy the Mpeg?
Do you want me to make a VCD of it and post it to you, or mail you the full file which is over 110MB?
