No real news on the 'scort at the moment. Things going slowly right now. It ran for the first time at the weekend.
And we've obtained some video of the actual event. Now its not much as the cameraman had the camera on standby at the time as he was meant to be filming another competitor.
However we've had this sent to us.... fantastic production. Many grateful thanks to the fellow competitor that produced it for us.

Finally the 'scorts back on the road. Took it for the first drive since the incident back in July. Fantastic to hear the whine of the straight cut box again. Still goes like stink. Saturday wasn't the best of times to take it out as the roads were soaking, and its twitchy to say the least.
Just waiting for the wheels to be delivered now so that we can have the correct offset to fill the arches properly...oh and a slight gearbox oil leak to resolve
Wouldn't have been possible without a dedicated Dad who'se put months of work into its restoration
The final result......
ps must remember to close door properly before taking photos !

My god, what a result!
Great looking car, fatter wheels/tyres would get you round the dreaded Three sisters better!?
Super job done, bet you can't wait for the season to open!
We kick-off in early April at Prescott, and then my beloved Loton Park.
Good luck! A fellow hill climber/sprinter,
