Honda S2000 or Boxster S????

That Boxster was given pole position, and ended up last in the whole race by a huge margin. The driver just gave up and talked about how nice the interior of the porsche during the rest of the race.

sorry i think the S2000 is a great car. I would go for that, dont see the boxster as a 'proper porsche' neither do other porsche drivers. Save you money and get the S2000. All IMO

There is no doubt that Porsche make some excellent cars. The jeep thing ?..not so sure.
The Boxter driver sitting at lights when a 996 pulls up will feel inferior (quite rightly)
The 2.5(7) Boxter is lame and devoid of anything but the basics.
The 'S' was a fix for the 2.5(7).
I know for a fact that people look at the Honda and say.."that's a great looking car"..probably because they have seen several million Boxters.
A proper porsche, is a "Wow" car...and Boxter is not.
Image isn't everything....Image Doctor isn't anything

Honda are the best, I am converted.
I will also shop at Lidl, buy Burtons suits, and drink Tesco's lager.
That'll save me a packet - Thanks

Jokes aside though do you really liken Honda to Lidl's and Burtons etc ??

We've spent over £25,000 on our S2000's, we can only afford lidl, burtons and tesco lager as we've spent so much on the car. God know how Boxster drivers afford food, clothes and beer as their cars cost £10k more!

No I don't liken Honda to Lidl, I actually do rate Honda's.
I get fed up of the "its 10k cheaper and I could have spent the change on blah blah blah." The fact is I could have bought a Honda, but I wanted a Porsche, yes it costs more, you would expect it to.
I don't care that I may have spent more and you may have a faster car, that not what it is about.
I did not grow up looking at pictures of Honda's.
Just to clear things up I DO NOT drive a boxster, I rate them highly as sports cars though.

For a lot of people on here I'm guessing that's exactly what it's about

oh dear......same old threads...same old arguments
I'm not going to start defending the S2000 becos I think its that good that I don't have to :O)
If you don't like Honda or you prefer Porsche well good for you.
I don't understand the crap about buying stuff from Burtons and drinking Tesco's Lager.....thats just complete nonsense.

There is nothing wrong with drinking Tesco's lager if you have tried all sorts of brands and actually prefer it. If you are so insecure that you drink expensive imported bottled stuff because you think that the image of doing so will affect people's impression of you, then you are a sad vacuuous individual. Same applies to people buying cars on image. IMO only off course.

Unfortunately most people have not tried the "expensive premiuim imported larger" before announcing to anyone who listens that the tesco larger is better and they could spend their savings on something else.
I however have tried the Tesco larger and however "pissed" it makes me, it tastes like **** and because I earn enough, I can spend it expensive larger!

Agreed expensive imported lager tastes better (albeit that remains a largely subjective observation ) but that's got **** all to do with the Porsche/Honda comparison.
LOL..owning a Boxster and then trying an s2000 is more akin to realising that the £50 pair of levis are actually more comfortable, equally as well if not better made and (in the eyes of the majority) seriously more looking than the £200 pair of Armanis you are wearing..
